New Member says hello!
Hello to everyone, I am about to start a journey of what is a build of a sports car that is admired all over the world. The Cobra kit car dream has been mine for a long time and I have just purchased a damaged SS commodore LS1 6speed & lsd I want to transfer all the running gear into a beast!
I am in Tasie so there are not many Cobras here but am looking forward to catching up if you come over in Oct?
Has any body seen the Cobras that have been on ebay I think they are a Venom? and made in Victoria by a guy named David?

this one...?
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ac-cobra-427-...d=p3286.c0.m14
(hope the link works - its very long)
The only 'Dave' that I have heard of with the name Venom is the (former) site user Venom0427.
If you review some threads hear you may be able to determine if its the same guy
decided to build rather than buy, what do you think!
this site has a search function and its worthwhile using it
Do lots of research, figure out what you want to do and how much you can do.
I have seen a couple of shops where the bodies are ready to go (haven't ever enquired after price or if they're available just as bodies)
Good Luck
(and get a propper engine )

Welcome along GMEOVR, I see you have found the Aussie section here on Club Cobra.
As LoBelly has suggested do a good search of that username, he is pretty dodgy, I had tried to buy parts from him in the past and it was a nightmare, gladly realised all was not right before sending money.
Do a search on kits in Australia and check out a few of the build threads in the Aussie area, you will be able to make a better informed decission on what kit suits your requirements.
Also get along to a local club meeting if you can, there will be one in what ever state you live.
And finally the Cobra Nationals are on in October at Goulburn NSW, a very worthwile trip to see all the different brand kits to see the subtle differences in teh cars.

Hello from the tall man
Hey everyone. Getting ready to start building first car with my father. I'm 6'5and 250 lbs, so we have been researching what cars would be the best fit. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
