The fuel pump is a Holley. There aren't many choices but this was the one with the best volume numbers.
The Weber's are set up with 45mm chokes, f7 tubes, 180 mains, 185 air correctors, idle jet 70 with holder at 120. This is just my first attempt but I think it will be close. The air corrector might need to go to 130 or 140 but I will use the LM1 meter to fine tune the system.

No, I don't have the third hole. I probably should have sent them off last winter for that mod but I just didn't think of it. I'll have to wait and see how it feels on the first test drive.

Well, I had a small set back today. Nothing major but I was having trouble getting the pedal to firm up. The brakes worked but the pedal had to much travel. I was using a .625 front and .75 rear master. I did the math earlier in the first build but I screwed it up. With the 6 piston front and 4 piston rears I need to move more fluid. I talked to the wilwood tech and ordered a 1.0 for the rear and a 7/8 for the front. That would be too much for the stock calipers but I need to move more fluid. They will been in this week. I'll keep you posted. I also have a second set of stock factory pipes that I'm welding up for final fit tonight. I would love to drive this car this weekend!

Since Hurricane offers these brake upgrades, will you feed this info. back to them so they can be sure to offer the proper size MC's?

Sure, I speak to them all the time. This project has gone very smoothly but there are things like this that we just didn't count on. All new car are going to benefit from this first car.

Ron, I got your message and I will call you tomorrow.
The brakes are working great. I used a Wilwood 1 inch on the rear and a 7/8 on the front. I haven't driven the car yet but I have a great pedal now.

Hi Dean, did you piece together your wiring harness or was there a schematic that you referenced - perhaps a package? I am looking for the same type of harness incorporating buss fuse holders on the firewall, etc. I think someone manufactures a harness like this but I don't know who.
Thanks,
Jim

That harness was put together with the help of dlotz here on the forum. It Is not functional. The real harness is under the dash. I wanted the look of the original with the dependability of modern technology. Those are all the original style Lucas components but they are just a "replica" of the original harness.

I would love that. The factory car has been photographed for the Dec/Jan issue. I will just have to wait and see.
