Default Two years - Just Finished

I just finished bolting the last pieces together in prep for the 500 World of Wheels car show in two weeks. Now I need to wait for warmer weather so I can fine tune it and put some miles on her. My version is a nice weekend cruiser. I did install a radio, but it's hidden. I did avoid the cup holders.

Here are a couple of pictures.

Very nice! Are those speakers in between the seats on the rear bulk head?

Looks real sharp! Is that a David Brady paint job?

No, I had a local painter right around the corner from me paint it here in Martinsville, IN. He did a great job and he even hacked the right door apart for me to get a better fit on the door than was possible right out of the box due to a twist in it.

Yes. Below is a better picture. I bought waterproof boat speakers and painted the outer shell to match the car. The amp and radio are hidden under the dash.

Thank you everyone for the nice comments. It may not be a "real" Cobra to some folks but it sure looks real sitting in my garage!

Wow! Nice attention to detail! Chromed steering column, no less!

So, where DID you hide the stereo?

It sits on a hinged tray underneath the dash over the passenger legs. You simply reach up and move a little clip and the radio face pops out from underneath the dash. You can even turn on the radio (or leave it on) and still hide it out of view.

I like the build a lot. I wish you had built mine! I love the ghost stripes.
