The Purple one goes to a gentleman in TX. Michael Ruddick put that one together. Its a standard chassis with a coyote motor in it. Everyone has their own take on the coyote motor, but I think it look fantastic under the hood. The paint job is stunning as well with the plum crazy purple and graphite stripes/roll bars. I love that color combo. You don't see those every day, that's for sure!

i saw a picture at one point of a JBL competition cobra beside a "traditional" cobra, the difference was huge- it would be cool to see that side by side with the coupe.

Any pics of the coupe with glass in?

just the pic posted before by GMS with the front windshield in. No more with glass. Should have the rear hatch mounted soon. Side windows are about done, not sure if he'll mount tinted windows before he paints or not. Probably will to get some nice pics here on CC. He should have the window track Monday to mount in the window frames too.

When I get my cobra up and running I'll get some pics side by side.

Got to take it for a nice little cruise last week. Drove very nicely, really didn't test anything, just putting around. Sounded awesome though. Looks awesome going down the road too. Larry is doing a great job. Gaps are perfect, lines are perfect. Can't wait to see it painted. Well on to the pics. I don't think I posted these yet.

He told me it scared him!

I hope he post pictures today of the Coupe. I understand it is in a nice classic color.

I like hearing the stories. You guys wouldn't believe how bitter sweet it is to build a hoss-cat of a motor for someone and never get to experience the horsepower myself.

I was a little scared. Larry told me a cop lives on the street we were going up and down on, so I took it easy. Its a little scary with no mirror, signals, fiberglass rear hatch, liscence plate etc. I rolled into it enough to know that goosing it would greatly increase chances of finding the ditch. Larry drove it once and goosed it. I think he was staring at a ditch for a split second before he straighted it back out. Brent, the HP you put into that motor, goosing it in any gear lower than 3rd may be a dangerous idea

JBL Coupe Test Drive - YouTube

Lets see if this works. Sorry, I wasn't blasting around the curve at 90 mph. Give me a couple weeks. I'll get some nice video then.

Correct, I want to be unique, but not plum crazy unique Going with Mini-Cooper colors, British Racing Green II with Pepper White Stripes. Also threw a challenge at Larry, ultra thin pen stripes bordering the white stripes via stainless steel wire so as to catch the sun at any angle - we'll see if that gets a rise out of Larry!

All is painted (except duckbill) Dash is covered and interior work will be coming soon. Shooting to be ready for Tulsa Ford/Shelby show starting June 12. Here's a few pics of body with paint and buffed. Still need final wax.
