Finally, an update!

Looking good. Love the molded in hood louvers.

Good to hear from you, hope things are going well.

The car has finally arrived! It was picked up from Mr. Bruce's house Oct 14 and delivered Nov 2. I have a lot of work ahead of me. More of a journey.

Here it is sitting comfortably in my garage while I inventory everything.

Until I get my motor mounts which are needed to install my plastic engine to mockup my exhaust system, I began removing unneeded pieces on the frame from FFR. These include roll bar stubs, remnants from pieces removed by Bruce, and the 4" round front cross member

Finished making the trunk templates. Time to buy a HF sheet metal brake and make some aluminum panels

Update: I made my own sheetmetal brake 37" wide and began making my aluminum panels. Nothing from FFR is usable.

I made one from heavy duty angle iron. I will probably make another one for this build

Thanks 1985 CCX. Trying to source original style hood hinges and mounts since none came from Bruce. This has me backed against the wall as I have no idea what to do

Have you tried the Kirkhams? They seem to have a line on such things for their own cars. In my experience, they have been helpful to non-Kirkham owners.

Talked to Bruce and he is making me hinges. There was a miscommunication and he thought I was going to use the FFR hinges. His are much nicer and more original. Now just have to wait till they show up
