While I'm waiting for the hinges, I bought materials to fabricate the lower radiator mount. I cut some .080 mild steel flat stock to length, drilled the mounting holes, rounded the ends, then carefully measured and welded the tabs. Drilled holes in the stubs on the radiator for 1/2" hitch pins. Assembled with rubber grommets, the mount, flat washers, and secured with hitch pins.

I'll cut the bar to length and weld on mounting flanges once I'm certain the position of the radiator.

Topped off with 48 IDA Webers. Just waiting for my "Octopus" water/fuel inlet and linkage components from Jim Inglese

Bill - I'm envious! You will end up with a very nice FIA replica there.

Cheers,
Glen

289 with Webers. Makes you want to drive around without the hood.

Got my FIA water/fuel inlet from Jim Inglese today, along with gaskets, reproduction fuel line clamps, banjo fittings, and correct water hose clamps.

Bill

Awesome.
Call Racewhere for correct alternator bracket.
You've come this far might as well complete the mission.

I would recognize that fuel log / water pipe anywhere
I want to give Dan Case credit here as he worked with me on both of these brass / steel fuel inlet banjo projects....

I haven't purchased the rubber fuel hose yet. Is it just plain ol' rubber fuel hose that I can get at Napa or Autozone?
