I have sold to ERA builders previously, mostly FIA models. Please private message me with your email and we can go from there. I do not wish to hijack Bill's thread, thank you.

Finally finished fabricating all the new cockpit aluminum. I modified the frame and remove the inner corner steel pieces of the backbone since my frame has been extensively modified by Bruce. This also required making all the panels from scratch.

Overview of the cockpit. Because I have fiberglass footboxes, I had to fabricate new floors in addition to everything else.

The rear bulkhead includes an access panel for access to the fuel tank and the shoulder harness attachment bolts. You can also see how the inner corners are now squared.

New driver side floor and new 3-piece transmission tunnel top. The forward top cover had to be made in two pieces to accommodate the added dash support tubes. I also decided to make the floors and transmission tunnel sides separate. Just easier for me to fabricate.

The passenger side floor and transmission side panel. I also relocated the e-brake to the floor

I had to cut down the transmission tunnel front panel and then make custom closure panels to cover up the holes between the footboxes and the tunnel side panels.

Under door aluminum to fit the contour of the cutback doors and the fiberglass corner pieces from Bruce. I still need to make door sills with my shrinker/stretcher and attachment panels that tie the under door aluminum to the fiberglass corner pieces.

Used my new Woodward Fab shrinker/stretcher toll to make curved mounting flanges that tie the fiberglass wheel boxes and under door aluminum panels together. Man that was tough going. My right atm feels dead. Material is .040 6061 aluminum 2" wide by 14" long and then bent 90 degrees down the middle lengthwise.

The curved mounting flange was then riveted to the wheel box, and then the under door panel riveted to the flange

Still need to make sill plates to finish off the cockpit

That's a good thing! You don't know how much work it can be to have to pull that tunnel apart every time you want to get in there. If you have he ability, make sure you can get to the linkages & speedo stuff from under the car. If you ever have to mess with them, you'll thank me. I can get to my linkages. The speedo cable/gear, not so much.

I have FINALLY reached that point where I am now in the process of taking the car apart so that I can have the chassis powder coated. Once I get the chassis back, then it's on to final assembly. Yeah baby!!

Nice looking dash Bill. What's the third temp gauge for, diff or gearbox? Any problems envisaged for fitting the sensor?

Nice aluminium alloy panelling, by the way

Cheers,
Glen
