Bill,
I've gained much inspiration from your build. Please don't stop now. There would be many others on this forum, like me, looking forward to your progress reports.
The finish is in sight. Stick with it.

Cheers
Glen

The painter has started working on my car after sitting in his shop since March 2020. He has fitted the doors with the correct spacers I forgot to send him, bonded the inner and outer hood panels, opened the scoop, and attached the hood

Bill,

Glad to see that things are moving forward. The good weather will be upon you by the time that the car is ready. Good luck, and can't wait to see the finished product. Take care.

I was pondering adding vents and drew them to see how they might look. I’ve abandoned the idea

Sounds like you're past the idea now but here's a picture I found of Bruce's hood vents on a 289 Comp body....

Big milestone Bill! Keep up the supply of pictures

You might recall.... my car's body is a Bruce Chervenak body as well ....so our cars have an 'accurate connection'

How did you make the Faux beads for the panels? Did they add any rigidity to the panel after attached?

The car looks great primered! you are closing in to driving it!

I used 1/2 inch half ovals, contoured and filed, then sanded to give a satin finish, then epoxied to the aluminum panel. Lots of tedious work.
