Cannot speak to the Hunter, never been around one. The Uniques are excellent, have strong, bullet proof chassis, and, to my eye, do a great job replicating the original cobra lines. The Weavers are also great folks to deal with. My car is so dependable, I have not had any reason to call on them in many years. The fiberglass body is strong without being too heavy, and hasn't cracked or crazed anywhere. I'd do it over in a heartbeat.

Default Go with Unique

Unique.

Your statement of “……this build will not take long” is all the more reason to go this route. Their Deluxe Pallet Kit comes essentially as a rolling chassis, which will greatly speed up and simplify the build process. And the body is already attached, so you know it will fit when you go to put it back on after installing the drive train and completing the body work and paint.

Here are some links to a couple of more reasons, and the Jan/Feb 2014 edition of Kit Car Builder magazine has an article about one of their 289s.

Talking about re-sale, I sold my Hunter in only 3 days on Cobra Country. Big selling point of a Hunter is the extra legroom. It's significantly cheaper than a Unique also.

Yep.........I'm liking the Unique for originality ,Jaguar suspension.......... The Hunter ......has a dropped floor which for even a short ass like me is a plus...........and the Corvette suspension which seems stronger..........which is going to last without breaking while allowing the owner to really. " use " the car .....? and of course resale down the road.?

I just bought a completed Hunter. I like it so far. Very solid feel. Would anyone here happen to have a build manual that they would like to share. I would love to see the process.

Thanks
Joey
