Cobra Make, Engine: trying to get info on a 65 cobra 427 I just bought

Unhappy need help, 65 427?

Just bought what is said to be, and appears to be a 65 cobra with a 427 side oiler and a top loader 4 speed. It is registered in Hawaii with a vin that's starts with AZ on the title but unable to find it or any other numbers on the car. In looking over the car for a vin I noticed in the rear corners of the trunk, written in chalk, "htrc0031". The shelby America plate on the firewall is not engraved with a vin. Any info on where to locate the vin would be appreciated.

Every replica manufacturer stamps numbers in differrent places (if they stamp them at all). The only way anyone can help identify what you have is to include a series of photos of the car including underhood, interior, underneath and the trunk. A description of the frame constuction and suspension design will help also. The more pictures the better.

HTC= High Tech Cobra (replica, not an original Cobra, sorry).

However, pictures will go a long way to confirming this.
