Super nice alright.....I think its a great idea getting Pace to paint the car. Such a messy job and the mess it makes on the chassis and everything else can be completely avoided.....

Looking forward to seeing the painted body on the chassis.

That's a winner right there, bodywork and paint are excellent. Soon it will be time to start putting the bits together, got your spanners ready ?

Some might say I get a little excited over my car and OK (almost) every FIA has FIA wheels, but does this look good or what?

Cheers
Glen

Hiya Tim,

I loaded some pictures into the build thread a number of times a while back but each time they disappeared after a day or two, so I finally gave up!
He (AP2289) is ready for shipping down to me. AP are just waiting for delivery of some shipping crates to contain the smaller boxes during the 'long way down'.

All good with ERA2136? Still some great autumn/fall driving days ahead for you! Spring weather is not far away here (I hope).

Cheers,
Glen

Hi all,
Time to 'bump' my own thread with an update.
Wheels and tyres were fitted three weeks ago, so he is really at 'rolling and steering' stage now, and ready for shipping.
Got the go-ahead from AP to have the shipping container delivered, so that happened on Monday. AP have started loading the container, and my best guess is that the container might be ready for shipping mid-next week (Warren, please feel free to jump in if that's not correct).

Very much looking forward to having AP2289 in his permanent home.

Cheers,
Glen

While I'm waiting for my car to finish being packed for transport, here are some of the pictures that disappeared a number of times in that big hiccup on CC a month or so ago....

Cheers,
Glen

Glen,

I bet you can't wait for that crate to arrive, then it will be your turn to pick up where PACE left off. I know you are gong to enjoy putting this together. As they say 'some assembly required' and that's half the fun!

Hi Tim.
No I can't wait! I know PACE are putting a lot of effort into carefully packing my car. They have had the container for a week and a half now, and they have only taken well earned time out for the Cobra Nationals this weekend.
If AP2289 is in the same ballpark as your magnificent ERA FIA, then I'll be a very happy FIA replica owner.

Cheers,
Glen
