One of the guys here on the West Coast made the same journey but, chose to follow a traditional path in Aluminum.

Take a look at his details, I had a very minor part in the process.

Hi Almaznic,
Things are moving along very nice! Why so many small sections for the front of the nose, instead of casting it as one or two pieces? Future modifications? Looking forward to the next update.

Mike.

Mike.
Needed for the part to release from the mold. Pulling the nose from a one piece mold will not work with the sides curving inwards and the radiator outlet.

Hello!
1. Many models (matrix) in front of Cobra is a way to easy de-construct all the matrix with less power and less damage to matrix.
2. As you can see, there is no dot for front lights. Besides, i don't know exactly what kind of lights i will use in future; that's why remakes of matrix will be.

I have many ideas for car's landing gear.

I sure i can copy the details from FFCars judging to pictures.

but it's too early to speak about it.

Loving this thread! I'm waiting for the Yak DNA to show up. Is it going to get machineguns at some point?

As you see there are a lot of work in front so i hav't think about engine yet.

Besides, soon i'll finish 2 more projects for construction.

I can try on these projects, that's why i'll be ready to Cobra with full knowledge.

Market of contract's engines from Europe and Japan is rather developed in our country.

I think Japan's engine 2JZ-GTE , 2JZ-GE will be optimal here - it's very useful and not expensive.
