ahhh, a work of art! Great once again. Thanks to Chris for the lead back in 2018 when I started down the path to getting the car.

Motor arrived Friday and boy does Brent pack it well. Time to get tinkering so when the car comes ask, I can drop in the drivetrain.

Very nice.

It has the same ventilation system as my motor - same filter/breather adaptor in back and an oil fill breather. Mine hasn't seemed to have any problems with that and it looks like it has Blykins support.

The interior and trunk are all sealed, applied lizard skin and the added cool it material to reduce heat. Also done with the undercoating in the wheel wells. The car is now done with the body work and primer so this coming week it rolls into the paint booth. Motor is getting the little touches done now so hopefully by the end on June, the car is back home and ready for the drivetrain install.

This is photo of the car the way it looked when I picked it up in Sept 2019. This photo was from a March this year when I dropped it off for the work to start.

Used lizard skin and cool it on the cockpit and trunk just got lizard skin. Also used rubber undercoating in the wheel wells on the fiberglass areas but not on the aluminum panels. On the panels in the wheel wells used a product called shark skin.

Very nice color. Sounds like you are having the paint done locally.

I used most of those products for insulation and deadening on mine. Also the Sharkhide. So far it’s held up very well. I’m even using it on polished aluminum trim I’m doing for a friends 63 Ford Galaxie. Re-anodizing wasn’t in his budget but Sharkhide muted the chrome like polished shine on it just enough to look a lot like fresh anodizing. Also keeps it from oxidizing. Just have to keep lacquer thinner and acetone away from it as they will remove it.

Thanks Dan. I followed your build and with Chris’s input I made sure my foot boxes, cockpit and trunk were solid
