Slow going waiting for stuff but this weekend we will be fitting the fuel log, making fuel lines and getting things finished on the top of the motor. Once done we will be installing my aviaid oil pan and Craig’s rail supports. So slowly moving forward to where we can finally drop the motor in...

Thanks guys. We extended the wiring harness so the puke tank can mount where it should , fuel log mounted, fuel lines almost done and turkey pan base is on (had gotten the 2 piece from Nick based on Patrick's wisdom).... so next weekend we will finish up and maybe attack the oil pan. Only have a few hrs on the weekend so I am trying to make the most of it. Way too busy with work but just dying to finish it!

Could you send a couple of pictures, details and any issues you had moving the wire harness? I am considering doing the same.

More progress.... all firewall wiring/relocation done for puke tank, radiator back in with repro top and tag from Nick, radiator fan back in, oil cooler in and one of two fuel lines for the motor is done. Will post photos soon. Leaves just one fuel line before we put on the new oil pan and pick up.

Rob,
Nice work on the build! You must be putting in 'extended' hours on the build if you've got significant work pressures as well

Cheers!
Glen

Hi Mike,

Apologies.... It is called shark hide. Go to sharkhidestore.com

Never used it before but figured why not try it.

Well the motor went in nicely but not the tranny. Had to order the correct size hydraulic throw out bearing. So it should arrive Tuesday and the tranny will then go in... I hope. Ha

It wouldn't be any fun if everything went well and worked perfectly. Anybody that tells you that their build was perfect is not being honest. Good luck.
