Thanks Gary. NY has been a huge mess for yrs. Remember when they went to multi docs needed to register things. What a pain. We spent lots of time and became friendly with the DMV people in Saranac so it helped since it was nuts when they first adopted that. I am thinking if all goes well I might come up into the area in late August / early Sept. The roads up there are awesome but over 35 yrs it our trucks pulling things. I did drive up there twice with some of our fun cars and wow it was awesome.

It is all done as of today. Odometer is at 100 miles from shake down cruises. Now the fun begins

Thanks, it was long journey from when I was a 24 yr old wanting one when I visited ERA to pick up a 427 that our family friend purchased. I was finally able to buy one 24 yrs later and I am finally happily motoring along....

Thanks Buzz, it sure is fun and basic compared to my other toys... ok not as bad as my 1943 Diamond T M3 Half-Track.... now that is rough ride, has no pick up and is slow as heck but fun to drive. Still not sure why I get such strange looks when cruising along in it. hahaha

Wow Rob, any other toys that are mentionable?

The mention of a Diamond T has my attention....my first drive - assisted - on the road (at around 5 years of age) was in my Dad's 1937 Diamond T

I still have a reminder in my garage...

Cheers!

Smile Beautiful ERA Cobra

I am new to the forum and this is my first post. Your cobra is beautiful!! You are going to have so much fun, adrenaline rushes, and make many new friends. I speak from experience. I also purchased an ERA 289 FIA car some years ago but have never posted pictures. I have many smiles to the mile and also some nail biters. Once I am more familiar with the Club Cobra site I will post pictures.

Hey rlrichins! Welcome to the forum.

Start a thread on the ERA forum ... ERA---Speak with Bob Putnam - Club Cobra ... and post some pictures of your car.

I've always been a fan of ERA's cars, and had intended importing a car to Australia a few years ago, but import restriction kyboshed it.

Cheers!
Glen
