Have fun!

I'm currently also building a Locost 7 myself. The site is Locost USA.
There all types of configurations being built. And a very supportive and knowledgeable group of guys on the site. These cars are built from scratch for the most part. There are free downloadable plans online with different size frames. Everything from motorcycle motors to V12 Jag motors have been used. Typically they finish out between 1200 lbs- 1400 lbs. Small cars with big personalities.
Maybe that's where you want to start.
