I want to buy a Cobra
I am in the market for a solid driver Cobra. I had originally planned on waiting to buy one until I sold my current toy, but then it dawned on me...why not see if anyone wants to trade?
I have a 1967 Jaguar XKE 2+2. It is modified, having a Ford 302 engine and C4 auto transmission. It also has a custom paint job (dark/medium red, with lighter red ghost flames on the front). I just put a lot of money into it.
I know the car is not worth as much as a good Cobra, so I'd be looking to trade + cash for a Cobra.
As I mentioned, I'm looking for a solid, well built and sorted Cobra, but I can't afford to buy the top of the line new ones.
If nobody wants to trade, I will definitely be ready to buy as soon as someone buys my Jaguar, so keep me in mind. Thanks.

Ty,
Thanks for the info. I did see that one posted. Right now, I still have my Jaguar, so I'd have to sell it outright before I could buy a Cobra for cash. I'm looking to see if anyone wants to trade, or knows someone who may be interested in my Jaguar, so that I can get the $$ for my Cobra. Everyone I've talked to on these forums has been so helpful, I figured I'd give it a shot. Thanks again.

Steve,
Have you tried--
http://www.jag-lovers.org/lumps/
When I had my XKE with a Chevy 350 in it, this was a great site.

Thanks for the advice, Wayne. I'd never seen that site before. I will try to post there to see if anyone wants my Jag.
I'll probably try Ebay soon too.
