Beautiful Authentic Cobra Done Right! Price Lowered!!!
Here’s a newly finished professionally built Cobra for someone looking for all the best components, an appearance as close to the original as possible, and an affordable price. This is a Factory Five Racing 427 Cobra Roadster. It features a 4 inch round tubing racing chassis and aluminum inner panels & cockpit, like the original. This makes for a very light (1900lb) & strong car! This car was built by Pacific Performance Cars, an authorized builder for Factory Five Racing. The car looks (& sounds!) period correct, featuring a carbureted 345+ HP Ford Racing (crate) Engine (w/aluminum GT40 heads), reliable Autometer replica Cobra Gauges, with the large 4 inch Tach & Reverse 160 MPH Speedometer, and Cobra tires with Halibrand wheels & knockoffs. Other features include all new bushings and ball joints in the front end, Malory pointless ignition system, Chrome alternator, Ford Racing V-Belt pulleys, Ford Racing clutch (all components), Cobra Valve covers, Edelbrock Airgap intake manifold and air cleaner, Holley 650 Double Pumper Carburetor, Mac unequal length Headers, and Hinged Hood (using rivets like the original). The transmission is the Ford T5 manual, with a new Hurst Gold shifter. We opted for the one piece Breeze steering shaft instead of FFR’s cut and weld procedure for safety reasons. The few refurbished parts used have been sand blasted and refinished using quality automotive paints (Ford colors). Construction and body work are of professional quality. The Cobra is painted in the traditional blue & white color scheme. I have receipts totaling over $31,000 for this car without including any labor, and must sell due to financial reasons for $31,000 OBO. Pictures are available to serious buyers via e-mail. The car is located in Los Angeles, but delivery is available nationwide (buyer’s responsibility). You won’t be disappointed! Thanks for looking! scady@bigfoot.com
