We're back!
Turk,
We've just jumped out of our.....and we're getting into ..... and yes we're even more "anal" in the operating room. You were very observant in noting that Sue did the clean up. Do you have ANY idea how many years it took me to train her..ouch, that's going to leave a mark! WOW what a clip shot to the ear!
Tom, Thanks for the input. I have to honestly admit, when you told me that you were having a Galaxy Blue SPF, I envisioned a robins egg blue and thought that I'd need some Foster Grants but that metallic blue, similar to the color on the original GTO's is absolutely beautiful.

Bony,
I think that a 289 stroked, alloy bodied addition is on tap. I don't have the time to dedicate to a building project like Ron and U2, so I'm looking at a finished or nearly completed car.

Dan,
Robin's egg blue is one step above a pink Mary Kay car.
BTW, a former colleague works at Ford in Connersville. I'll let him know your car is available. Who knows....maybe your car will stay in Indiana.

Tom,
Although I enjoy Royal , Portofino and Guardsman Blue, if I personally had chosen a blue, yours would have been the color. It's interesting that you chose it because the Anniversary Edition 289 Shelby's are almost exactly the same color. I'd like to place your car side by side with the Anniversary Edition and have a photo shoot!

Dano
XKS in San Luis Obispo quoted me $98 for that red FIA weber car they have been running at SAAC27- SAAC Vegas, but it is plastic. I have no desire to turn wrenches.

Maybe the new SPF Coupe?
Bony,
Superformance will be launching its new coupe within the next month and from reliable reports, it sounds like a homologation of the roadster with all of the creature comforts necessary for a daily driver, so this will be a serious consideration. I think that a matching colored coupe in Laser Red with Gold Stripes or maybe Tom's Galaxy Blue with a phantom stripe might be stunning. One of the most important considerations is the fantastic dealer support that I've experienced through Dynamic Motorsports. As I've stated in several prior posts, I've had an extensive collection of vehicles in the past and I've never had the customer support that I've experienced with the Ross, Ohio group and that includes a fleet of high end Benzes.
The ONLY problem that I've encountered is the Rosens keep requesting that I change my name and talk to their rabbi about some sort of "alteration"!

Watch Out For That Alteration !!!
Dan,
If Ron introduces you to a man wearing a black suit and hat, with funny sideburns, and carrying a little black bag, then RUN !!!!
The guy is a Mohel and up to no good. Run I tell you !!!
And don't believe him when he tells you that slicing board is for Ron's loaf of bread. RUN !!!!
Unless you don't mind singing soprano for the rest of your life, RUN !!!
Tom (1/4 Jewish and have the alteration to prove it)

Mike,
Your e-mail is malfunctioning again. If you're interested in the 230/236 Comp Cam that we discussed, drop me a note or try calling after 7PM. I still have the Holley sv750 double pumper and will stick with the Speed Demon now that I've adjusted to the power band, so it is also available.

Talking with Dynamic
I talked with the folks at Dynamic last evening and tried to pry more information about the new coupe that they're launching at SEMA. I understand that current Superformance owners will have an advanced opportunity to purchase the limited coupes available. On a happier note, further inquisition about the Superformance-AC product drew the expected "I don't speak the language well" response, which we've come to know and appreciate from The Mediterranean Love God. I did remark that I desired to be the first on "the list" to which I heard, "no comprende' "but they KNOW that I'll be watching every single move made and will provide a new, improved Indiana version of "The West Nile" (that's about 5 miles over the Ohio-Indiana border) if the loop is broken.

Thanks to everyone that called and inquired about our Superformance. The car is no longer available.
Anyone that needs a silver Holley 750 with the electric choke still on or a Comp 230/236 cam, drop me a line. I have these extra parts available.
More info on our new addition to follow.

No waiting!
As tight-lipped as Dan is, you shouldn't have to wait more than 20 minutes or so!

Say WHAT Willis ????
Turk,
Say what, me tight lipped for only 20 minutes, I'll have you know that I haven't said a single word about the alloy cars that we're interested in and haven't told a soul about those little blue pills that make you "harder" to understand!
Hey, I don't speak the language well and I know a guy named Harris, so what do you expect?

So Dan,
Will you be sticking with the red color, or maybe....hmmm....Galaxy blue.
Are you staying with the SB, as well ???

Tom,
I'll "probably" be exploring a color similar to Galaxy Blue, maybe a shade deeper and I'll actively seek a stroked 289 for power. I recently saw an aluminum, stroked 289 that dyno'd at 540 hp which really impressed me but it will all hinge on which manufacturer presents with the best package.

Dan,
Let me get this straight. 351 wasn't small enough for ya?
Now you want to get smaller yet?
Why don't you talk to Wilf? He could probably gety you a heck of a deal on one of those 4 cyl. Taunus crate engines.
Otherwise in your quest to get smaller and smaller, you will go broke swapping cars.
