If you are truly serious about getting our attention (well--you've already got mine), please provide some details--chassis number, etc.

OK, I'll say it...
Was this car found in a barn and looks strangely like an MG?

re: 289 for sale
The first time this car has been out of the garage in over 20 years was when we were invited to attend the 40th anniversary of the Cobra at The Peterson Museum. The car is CSX 2524 and is an extremely well preserved car.

CSX 2524 was originaly white with red interior and in 1965 was used by Yamaha in a mtotrcycle advertisment. During the cars use it was involved in a accident. Damage at the time was estimated at $1009.00. In 1979 the car was sold and completely restored and painted black with red interior. Subsequent to that owners are not known!
This is according to the SAAC registry.

ST
Thanks for the quick research buddy! Guess someone knew who the owners were for them to be invited to The Pete.

Review the posts--there are several of us that are looking for a Slabside. I am one of them, and I am getting tired of waiting for an aluminum-bodied quality reproduction. If you do not wish to post more information here--please feel free to either send me a Private Message or an e-mail via the prompts below.
