Shell Valley 66' cobra replica for sale
Ok, I am selling this 427 replica for a friend. It is a Shell Valley 427 replica. The most amazing thing is that it only has 72 miles on it!!! You did not read it wrong, 72 miles is all that is on this beautiful replica. The car is registered as a 66. The motor is a big nasty 429. a Holley 750 carb, Edelbrock manifold. It has a 4-speed top loader transmision. The exterior of the car is amazing with only a few very minor rock chips. It is Red with white racing stripes. Chrome side pipes, classic leather cobra seats, chrome driver side roll bar, 5 point harness, Weld racing wheels. He mounted a stereo with two speakers on the back between the two seats. When I asked him why he put it there he said, "Who cares, you cant hear it anyways." good point huh?
This car sounds mean and and is fast pumping out 400 hp! He is asking $36,000, or best offer. Any questions, and I mean any, that you have will be answered, so if you have any don't hesitate to ask. He also stated that if the buyer is anywhere in the state of Missouri, he would deliver the car for free!! Thanks very much for taking the time to read my post and as I said earlier, don't hesitate to ask questions. I check my email several times a day and will get back to you in a timely manor. Thanks again and enjoy!
Oh, I am working on posting some pics of the car, should be up here shortly! If I dont, leave me your email add. and I will send them to you. Thanks again....

Ok, I got some of the pictures up and working on some more. By the way, the cobra is started once a month and is kept in a climate control garage.

I think there is also a perception about the quality of the car being directly proportional to talent of the home builder. Factory Five has that problem as well but I have seen both cars that were exceptional in fit, finish and function and some that were not. I think some cars just have a higher perceived level of quality regardless of builder.

The car was actualy built by a profesional in St. Louis, 90 miles from his home, it wasn't built by him. It is very well built and is in tip top shape. Sorry, maybe I made it sound as though he built it, but in actuality it was indeed profesionaly built.

Shell Valley
You should drive the car over to Gateway Classic Car located 6 miles from downtown St. Louis, Mo. in Fairmont, Ill. off I-55 and I-70 at exit #6 off Illinois Rt. 111. They sell consigned car by private owners. I think it's $60 plus 10%. They have 200 to 250 cars in a old K-mart blg. I spend 3 1/2 hours in there. Talk to a guy named Todd. He knows Cobra and they advertize world wide. 1-800-231-3616 or www.gatewayclassiccars.com I do not work there but was blown away with all the nice cars that had on the floor.

Great, thanks for the info. I will pass that along to my friend, he might just do it if I can't sell it within the next few days.

Well, Freak (I'd call you by a better name, but you haven't given one), the used market is a bit soft right now. Unless its a stand-out specimen, you'll need some patience finding the right buyer.
Look at these stats:
CobraCountry has had 69 cars listed in the last three months and only 16 have sold
eBay has had 21 cars listed in the last 2 weeks and only 5 have sold.
BTW, "mean", "nasty", "big A$$" and "pumping" are adjectives that usually work in a different kind of classified ad.
Good luck...it looks like a nice car.

Ha Ha!! When you put all those words together like that it sounds pretty nasty!! What better way to attract buyers then huh??
The only thing is, I can hardly call this car, "used" seeing as it only has 72 miles on it. The only thing that is not stand - out on it is the motor being tricked out, and like I said, thats only because he hates fords and doesn't care about that. I'm sure it could be done for very little money. Just hate to see it collect dust when somebody is out there who could give it the attention it needs.
