Default FFR with power steering and lotsa goodies!

Due to some "personal issues", I am regretfully considering selling my FFR. This car is fully sorted and very dependable. I have been a Mercedes Tech for twenty years and poured my heart & soul into this project.

I have every single receipt. (don't ask me to add them up )

Has always run on premium fuel and fresh MOBIL 1 every 2k miles.

She currently has just over 8k miles.

Painted chrysler "intense blue pearl" w/ white stripes the same dimensions of a Supeformance car.

FFR OPTIONS:

15" Halibrand style wheels
SW gauges
sunvisors & windwings
FFR heater
drivers dropped floor
FFR tubular lower rear control arms
FFR authentic "lock out" style shifter handle

Other accessories:

Authentic style- self cancelling turn signal switch

front bumper hole grommets- Finishline
front vent screens
AC pedal pads

Polished Aluminum Park brake lever - Mike Everson

Drivetrain-steering features

10k mile T-5 transmission with pro 5.0 shifter
Ford motorsports cobra clutch assembly
BBK clutch quadrant w/ adjustable cable

8.8 mustang rear axle w FMS 3.55 gears
Autoweld upper control arms & brackets

Flaming river rag joing eliminator
Breeze solid rack bushings
Power steering w/ heidt's adjustable valve
March aluminum P/S & Alt brackets
Braided hoses

Other features:
inside of hood & decklid finished smooth & painted body color

ign switch mounted "in-dash"

gauges mounted in competition configuration

remote battery posts/ optima battery

Engine features:

345 crate motor from Central Coast Mustangs
5.0 liter w/ EFI uses milled GT40P heads

Stage 8 header bolts
FMS cobra intake manifold
FMS 24lb injectors
FMS 155 lph fuel pump
Accufab 70mm Throttle body
Pro-M 75mm air flow sensor
flow-kooler water pump
crane fuel press regulater

FMS cobra valve covers
steel braided hoses for oil filter mount
ARP flywheel bolts
ASP underdrive pulleys

uninstalled- upgrades included
I have a pair of Richard Oben's rear disc brake brackets & a GEO Metro power booster that I was planning to eventually install.

Known problems:

1-there is one "star crack" on the pass front fender about the size of a nickel (that no one ever notices,,,, but I know it is there)

2- for some reason, the colder it gets outside the goofier the SW tach behaves. When cold, it wants to read about 1000rpm high unless you tap on the face of it?

titled in Kansas as a 99 "specially built vehicle", insured for 35k fullcoverage at 500 bucks a year.

I am not looking forward to letting her go, but it is looking like I am going to have to.

asking $30,000- trades or reasonable cash offers considered.

Thumbs up

Alan,
I sure hope that this doesn't mean that you won't stay on the board and visit with us. So many times good guys sell their car
and never return to the board. For sure next year I am going to
make the heartland event. I wanted to meet alot of you guys that live up that way and try out that fantastic track you have in Topeka.

Good luck to you and I hope things are
OK.

Hersh

Thanks Hersh, I'll still be checking in on the forums every few days.
Right now I have to figure out how the heck I'm going to sleep tonight, while the "shock" of no longer having my toy is starting to sink in!

Smile

Sorry Alan,
There ain't no cure for that one. It's cold turkey .
The only consalation is know that someday you will
get back what you gave up, only better. So stay
positive and over time things will get brighter
for you.

Hersh

Alain, Alain, Alain... this isn't going to help but knowing you and your Cobra, your loss is definately someone else's gain (your Cobra certainly was sweeeeeet).

Richard is without a Cobra, you are without a Cobra ... heck, you fellas purchased, built, and drove your Cobras before I even finished mine.

Give me another week or so and I'll have mine on the road. Stop by when you need a Cobra fix and we'll do burnouts in my driveway!

I'll tell ya how to get to sleep tonight... think: M6GT.

Chin up fella!
