1966 AC Cobra replica by CMC. Black/'ghost' purple stripes tapered on the front, black interior. Kit purchased in 1993 by original owner who lost interest, not completed until 2002 (approximately a 2 year project). Custom red oak dash, Ford woodgrain steering wheel, polished stainless Flaming River steering column, stainless joints, stainless shaft, Painless Wiring harness with Lucas ignition/electric fan/windshield wiper switches & 12-volt plug for cell phone charger. Flaming River dimmer switch mounted in turn signal lever, MSD 6AL ignition with MSD billet distributor, VDO gauges, powered by a 466 cid Ford big-block (467 dyno-proven horsepower) with Dove 'C' heads, polished Edelbrock Torker intake, really big cam, forged internals, Holley 750 carb, stainless fuel lines, chromed Holley fuel pump, chromed GM 100-amp 1-wire alternator with custom stainless brackets and turnbuckle, CSI electric water pump, Griffin 600 hp radiator, Black Magic electric fan, stainless radiator hoses with polished end caps; C-6 transmission with all the tricks but very streetable, Lokar shifter, Ford 9" nodular rearend with 3.50:1 posi unit, all complete from Moser Engineering. Lincoln rear disc brakes with stainless brake lines and flex hoses, dual master cylinders with balance bar, Mustang II front suspension, chromed Carrera coilover shocks on front, polished stainless side louvers, front & rear bumpers with overriders, tinted sunvisors and clear windwings, Centerline Telstar wheels with BFG radial T/As, chromed sidepipes, ceramic-coated headers, chromed rollbar with stainless bezels, chromed fire extinguisher, 2-speed windshield wipers, Lokar dipstick tubes, RCI 5-point harnesses, Sony CD player with remote (head unit mounted under dash to keep the 'racy' look), Sony X-Plod 6x9 speakers in the rear shelf area. Convertible top & tonneau cover, braces, and hardware (never installed on car), all-weather custom car cover. This car has the best of just about everything that you could imagine except for being a true 427 side-oiler car.
