It is the most expensive tow-away you have ever seen.

Gordon Claunch 08-29-2002 11:26 PM

Turk, in all seriousness your car is absolutely stunning and if I was not just a poor old refinery worker it would be mine!!:3DSMILE:

Jamo 08-29-2002 11:28 PM

It's got one little nick, 2 inches from the bottom behind the right rear tire--I did that with my pocket knife. I can't stand perfection.

Gordon Claunch 08-29-2002 11:29 PM

I bet there will be a Butler on the market soon%/ Man I really do need to move north, there must be gold in them thar hills:LOL:

Jamo 08-29-2002 11:31 PM

Maybe could be.;) Things already in the works.

Gordon Claunch 08-29-2002 11:35 PM

Geez,Pat,Turk, and Jamo with Kirkhams and Boni with a too damn fine Era, I will never get to hang with you guy's and here I am trying to get all the bug's outta my little B&B just to come on one of your adventures!!:3DSMILE: I need a 2nd job, anyone need a hitman!!!!

Jamo 08-29-2002 11:43 PM

Who said Kirkham? We're all buying REAL ones--originals from the 60s. Cut really good divorce deals--women get the houses and every thing else. We will live in our cars.

We drove our cars so fast and hard on the Beale trip, we all cracked our fiberglass all over the place--but whatta run! Pat painted his car this weekend so Bony don't know.

Bill Wells 08-30-2002 03:06 AM

maybe bony will buy it , oops, era 535 aced ya out. and you two were buddies, but friendships can be tested over dollars spilled on toy cars ...LOL ! besides, bony's car is driveable and yours has pedals now , or push power !! at any rate, good luck on the sale. i drooled over yours too at dvsf2 and the sound of those straight pipes...but you are keeping the sound part . bill, not for sale spf

mark peterson 08-30-2002 05:29 AM

I am interested in your paint color, but cannot find any pics in the gallery. Can you point me to a link or send me a pic of your car.
Thanks, Mark

Fred Douglass 08-30-2002 07:14 AM

I towed you it was turning into "musical cobras". Keep this thread alive--at least it hasn't turned into wife-swapping.........
(yet).

Ar-ar-ar-ar

Turk 08-30-2002 08:37 AM

Gordon
Get out of Bakersfield. You are being held back!!

Bill Wells
Bony HAD to buy Pat's. He wanted an older ERA. Couln't afford to spend the money for a nice one! I can't believe I got aced out by a Subaru salesman on that deal.

Mark Peterson Send me your email and I will send you enough pictures to bring down the Internet in Michigan. I hope you have broad band...

Fred Douglass
I appreciate the offer, and I am sure she is a nice lady and all, but like the ad says NO TRADES. BTW How many miles on her?

TURK

Fred Douglass 08-30-2002 09:07 AM

That's smiles...Mr. Kemal...smiles---check lady in foreground of "green-boat-at-the-dock" photo in me gallery. Here's another idea---wanna keep this secret, tho, so no-one else read it! I gets me a tilt-bed, swings by Chez Toik, picks up the motorless Blue Beauty---you get the insurance, I save enough for a really *****in mill...................then there's Plan B....

Carrion

Turk 08-30-2002 10:07 AM

Fred,
No deal. I can't see the picture. The Gallery must be down!
Until then you keep her, I'll hold on to mine!!

TURK
while we are waiting...I wouldn't mind hearing plan 'B".

Fred Douglass 08-30-2002 11:01 AM

Waiting for you to pick up on the complimentary historical reference....Mustafa (hint: "Ata...boy...")
Wouldn't trade wifey anyway---she's a livin' doll---dunno about the Gallery FUBAR---will do some hackin' on it presently---may end up dumpin' the entire NORAD net....
Now....to Plan B...let's start with the prospect that it will involve a positively Byzantine scam under the guidance of a certain sheepophilic lawyer known well and beloved by all hands....details to follow

Turk 08-30-2002 11:03 AM

Very imporessive Fred! You were paying attention during the History classes obviously. I did get the hint. Nothing slips by me.
