To add to JAMO's most sincere and warm post about avatars, may I add that you will be blessed with some of the warmest avatars at animationfactory.com
You will find many, many avatars that actually move....like our flags. And always, always reduce your avatar down to at least 50X50 pixels. Otherwise, it won't work here. And horror of horrors, you won't be able to express your happiness.
I just know you will be successful. I have a warm feeling about that. It will be a glorious day when we see your new avatar here. And you can count on us to return here to admire it and share warm feelings with you.
