To My Old Friends

Hi Turk...Hows the baby?

BC... The new baby is on the way but you can see a photo on my

website www.competitionlife.com

Click around on the left. I think the photo is under "OUR FIRM"

Also to all you fast guys out there. I have been insuring lots of racers from Nascar down to SCCA and other clubs. If any of you need the best rates on the planet, please contact me.

Hey, If I can't sell you guys the body, I might as well try to sell you something you may really need. Don't we all??

I apologise in advance for turning a serious note but wouldn't all of you want to deal with someone who shares your passion than some clown with wing-tip shoes?

PS; All policy owners will get the super cool Team Competition Life t-shirt and hat.

Not so fast

Steve, Cranky here. Don't be so fast to part with that body. With the BB vs sb showdown coming in just a few weeks at the Glen, somebody is bound to need a replacement body before the weekend is through.
Any chance you may be able to deliver to the Glen with just a couple hrs. notice?
Or you could just come up to the Glen with the body in the back of your truck.;)

Cranky

I think since JM does the best "Replica" of Carroll Shelby, I think it would be appropriate for John to do his impersonation at the Seneca Lodge in the extra body, Flintstone Style. You bet he is working up the routine as we type.

John McMahon 09-14-2002 06:54 AM

Steve,

Carroll WILL make an appearance at the Seneca. So will SDW, Tawana, Elvis, Fred Sanford, Liberace, Tom Brokaw, the dude from the Godzilla (Godzirrah?) movies, Apu the Quicky Mart clerk and at least a dozen more!

Folks have been emailing me about what to do with the detractors in this thread and have suggested we tie them to a tree at the Seneca and force them to watch the "Johnny Show" sober.

That oughta do it.

P.S. - I am going to call some of my freinds that have CSX4000s w/ glass bodies and see if they are interested.

750hp 09-15-2002 05:29 AM

Steve - just to confirm, this body is the replacement body, not the one that had the curing problems?

Kris - if you're reading this.... is that RHD chassis still gathering dust in your factory?

Specialk 09-15-2002 06:55 AM

Craig, it's still here. I'm afraid if you don't buy it soon, they may make me convert it to LHD so they can actually sell it! :D **)

Steve's body + RHD 4000 chassis = complete car! ;)

CSX 4027 09-15-2002 09:28 AM

DaveSemko 09-17-2002 06:54 PM

What color stripes are on those Elephants?

What sort of performance specs? 0-60 time, 1/4 mile, etc?

I have a friend that is really into Camels, and another into Sheep - maybe I can make a little money on the re-sale of these guys :3DSMILE:

I hate to interrupt all this with a relevant question. Does this body have a glass cockpit and trunk in place etc? Is there a steel frame (birdcage) for the body to attach it to an original frame?
Cheers Nick
