JIRS or Solid Rear Axle?

Hello all,

I recently built a web site for a Turn Key / Kit manufacturer located just North of Houston, Texas. Anyways, he normally builds his kits and completed Cobras set up for a Jaguar Independent Rear Suspension......of course the turn key's and some of the kits come with one. I'm still learning about these cars every day and certainly developing a passion as I go. My question is to anyone with extensive knowledge and experience building or driving a 427 Cobra:

Do you think it is a good idea, as a manufacturer, to offer both an independent and a solid rear axle?

Also, if you get a chance check out the site.......I'm open to all
suggestions!

Thanks, will
