Added the pics for Ed. I've seen the JCF slabsides, and they are nice. One of the members here in Washington has one, and it's a beauty.

The pix really are not of very good quality. I didn't wet down the asphalt driveway and for some reason, Kodak disc (file size) is quite small. As a measure of "pixels" for detail, not very good. So thanks for any compliments. I'm a rank amateur fotog. Put a new set of pix on Cobra Country. A little better presentation, but still, not very good resolution. Not sure what to do next. Hate like hell to get rid of this car, but bought a nice, old touring car. Opening hood makes me appreciate the simple, direct rendering of the Cobra. No auto nuthin'. No power nuthin'. And it never fails to bring the gas jockeys out of the "store" to see and talk about the car. Always gets good reviews. More "cute" than intimidating, I guess, with the olde timey (original) exhaust and narrow body. Just what I was looking for. It's more fun than a person ought to be allowed, now that it's well sorted out. I didn't want stripes as I was going for the "original" as-delievered in '60s look. Bought several books and decided that I most look like Steve McQueen (with Shelby) inspecting a slabside Cobra (with luggage rack!) a few days before taking delivery of his a few days later.

get yourself a digital camera. Don't use the highest resolution though. For instance I use a sony 3.1 megapixel camera but i set it on 1280X960 resolution. Check my pics. To use more just slows the computor down. Also I can get 375 pics on an 128mb card that way

Alex. Thanks for the tip. We got a Kodak 2, which I take to be 2 mega ppi. Not adjustable, just Hi and Lo resolution, I think. I'm somewhat of a Luddite for a nuclear engineer, I am told. Refuse to carry/use a cell phone, for example. Too complicated.

Your foto very crisp and clear. Nice work.

Maybe the problem is in the down load not the camera. The sony uses a memory stick and they sell a mouse that has a stick reader built in. When you down load that reader looks like another drive in the computor. You can also connect via fire wire 0r ieee 1394 port but you need at least windows 98 or maybe ME i'm not sure. But I think alot of resolution can be lost with a serial cable. Most of the newer digitals hook up by fire wire and there are other attachments available to read different memory cards

Nice car!!

One of my realtors shoots houses with a Sony camera and e-mails to me. I resize from 13 inches wide to six and upgrade pixels from 72 to 150 in Adobe Photodeluxe. Hope that helps.

Ed just dropped the price to $29,500 (was 37k). That seems like a super bargain to me!
