have a royal blue with white stripes spf with 520 stroker built by Dean Woodruff. Has 2700 miles, chrome roll bar, ceramic coated
headers, and sidepipes, 3m invinsashield in front facia, quarter panels, and door openings. CJ alumn. heads, bluethunder intake,
dual holley carbs. Never been on race track. Always changed oil every 500 miles and ran 7gls of 110 octane on every drive. Car is BAR aproved and has 2002 tittle so don't have to worry about the tittling headache

I can hook you up with a beautiful blue/ white stripe SPF here in Bloomington. One plus is that it is already titled in Indiana as a '65 so no out of state transfer or emissions issues. Car sports a 514 c.i. aluminum head FMS crate motor and tremec. Always serviced by Dynamic Motorsports. I believe it includes soft top and tonneau. I've driven it and it is tight and brutally strong!

I agree, they are making deals down there! Call them first, or e-mail me. If you need info on a used SPF, I have my sources for history on most cars.

Ross Ohio is very close to you and, like Eric & Dan quoted earlier, you should visit Dynamic Motorsports. I was just there last thursday and they have a Royal Blue / White "used" SPF that has a 396 stroker in it built by Eric @ Perf. Engineering. Car has about 3K miles and is very clean with lots of upgrades. I think they were asking low 40's. Definately worth your time to drive over there.

Why don't you do a 1990s style priceline.com thing and name the price you're willing to pay and see who shows up. If your budget is 35k, for example, and you actually have it ready to deploy, then you might just find someone that has an older SPF out there that's ready to make a quick and easy deal. There are about 1600 spf cars, with only 20-30 available across the country (my estimate), there are likely an equal amount that are not sure they want the hassle of trying to sell in this market, ya know, kiss a lot of frogs. If you're really ready to make a purchase, that's what I would do. For every cash buyer, there are at least 100 "serious buyers" it's helpful to distinguish yourself.

If you want to buy a superformance, you can look at about 20 of them for sale right now priced between 38.5k up to 60k. By starting the thread "wanted: Superformance at reasonable price" without any stated preference for a specific combination of engine and transmission, are you asking for help finding something closer to Indiana? or something for less than $38.5k, if you get specific, there are many here that can help you find what you're looking for and find it close to home. If you are looking for someone to sell you their SPF for less than 38.5k, you ought to state your budget. Since there's no shortage of SPFs on the market, I don't understand what you're asking for. The way it works usually is that someone that wants to sell, advertises in some form of classified ad. Many folks here have directed you to several cars, some close to your home, and at various price points. Since none of these cars strikes your fancy or budget, it might behoove you to state what you're looking for. For example, Solid black red or silver, 300 series or newer model, tremec, between $xy,yyy and $xz,yyy. This way, people will know how to help you. You've stated that 45k is a price outside of your range, so why not just state the range, or, continue looking between this site, cobracountry.com, hemmings.com, autotrader.com, but my hunch is that you're looking for a top shelf car priced comparable to a lesser quality replica. If your budget is 30k, you should just say you're looking for a SPF, any vintage with any drive train, 30k cash on the spot, somebody may be willing to sell under market for quick no BS cash, and there is a LOT of BS in the Serious Buyer contingency. Tell the crowd what you want, and the market just might produce some inventory for you to consider.
