CSX 2524 was originally loaned to the Yamaha Motorcycle Corp for publicity purposes. It was eventually sold through Carroll's retail outlet, High Performance Motors, for cars that were used, mainly by FoMoCo, for demo/promotional purposes.
There was the making of a claim by SAI early on when someone within Yamaha was involved in a collision. The damages were around $1,000. No info as to how it was resolved. First known owner was John Anderson of Mountain View, Ca. BTW, someone mentioned pics of the car. I do not see them on the site. Have I gone blind? |
