What happened to your Idea of buying a B+B. They had 2 on ebay this week that went for around $5000 each. They were the basic frame, body, headers and side pipes. Thought my wife was going to bid on one but she chickened out. Jim

Hey Jim, you remembered.
Several reasons, but the first being finance. Couldn't get a backer for a unassembled kit.
I still could go either way. I wish there was a B&B near me to look at. It took me for ever to find a person close to me to show me a FFR. Tom from "World of Wheels" in Alcoa Tennessee answered my prayers, and I got to see his Coupe and Roadster! Thanks Tom!
Then throw in the wife equation, see says "Why don't you just buy a finnished car?" Some wife, eh? I have heart murmers now after she said that. Being I have only inspected a FFR, I lean that way. I like that aluminum on them.
I wish one of the two Im considering would finance me a car. That would solve it. Hint Hint.
I have your car on my desktop, LOL.
Thanks, Frank.

If you want a car financed go to JJ Best company...they will finance a car. Then you can get what you want if you can afford the payments...
They require 15% down and 5 year term..thats the only way they used to do it...don't know if they changed the rules.
Matt

I have contacted JJ Best and will probably use them. They were super nice on the phone, and were quick to respond. Peoplefirst.com was not so compliant. I have excellent credit just no equity in my home due to taking in some bills and a refinance.
JJ Best requires a appraisal and will only loan 70% on a completed kit car. I believe it was around 6% for 60 months. Which beats the heck out of any unsecured loan I could find, 9% or higher.
When I said "under 23k" I would need a appraisal for 33k or so. I do have some cash to make up a small difference, shipping etc.
Thanks guys, keep the input comming.
Frank.
