Looking for a dream!
I have had two motor related dreams since I was a kid. A Harley and a Cobra. Got the Harley then came the kids. Lost my best riding partner due to the danger of motorcycles. Would love to realize dream number two! I have been looking at everyone's posts and ads and must admit that I am somewhat overwhelmed with the variety and options out there. Would love some advice. Obviously I do not need to go top of the line. Also, would be interested in trading my '99 Fatboy/cash as an option to selling the bike. Thanks.

It took me 3 years of looking (not reading) to find what was right for me. Find a Cobra gathering that will have all makes of Cobras and look, look, look then drive, drive, drive then make your decision. Forum are a great place to gather opinions and advice. Nobody knows what you like or what you need so I am sorry we cant really help.
Unless your looking for a preowned car then your in the right place (-:

What gatherings are there in Texas. I am from south of San Antonio. Any help would be great. I think preowned would be the best way to go, and quickest, as I know I am in no position to take on building one for the first go around.

Take your time and learn everything you can before you make a decision.

Thanks for the responses. Please keep em coming. The bloods flowing and I am enjoying this process of hearing from others that have been there and done it.

Boy did you pick the right state :)
Just get under the Texas Club group and look for the meetings in Austin...our Pres this year is in the San Antonio group.
Also you want to make the meeting in Austin that happens every year in February...you can plan on about 70 cars of all manufacturers......
Welcome to the group.

ST, How do you reply to a thread and attach a photo. I can send an email with attachment but I am not familiar with this format we are in. I would like for the photos to post so that anyone interested may be able to see them as well. Your ride is beautiful! What are some specs on that engine and what is your asking price for the car?
