Post Comment from My 401 K

ATTN: The current NADA for a Mustang Indy Pace Car that is in mint condition is $27,325. As Jeff has indicated, there are only a handful of 1994 Pace Car’s that are the condition of mine. It has less than 350 miles put on it per year. Thanks for the comment Jeff. I included in my message that I was willing to give more money if the deal was right. In regards to purple panther, I find it highly insulting that you would try to compare my beautiful car that is a collector’s edition and collector’s item and perfect in every way to a wasted pile of metal like a 98 neon. I have seen many raced and beat up Cobra's from every manufacturer. Many of which were not owning in my opinion due to their beat up condition. What I meant by no raced or ragged out cars is I don't want a car with suspension problems, tires worn, nicks and chips on the paint from extreme track use and suspension wear and tear. I own a 1996 SPF and the rear end just tore away from the frame. I realize that I cannot get a new SPF for the deal that I am asking, but I would like to get something that I don't have to do restoration on. My 401 K
P.s. I ask for everyone to please keep the negative comments at a minimum. I do not appreciate being mocked or made fun of. I expect all of us to be adults and not have to result to petty insults like children to communicate. If you are not interested in this deal, simply don't reply.

Just as an FYI, the last lower mileage 1994 Pace Car convertible to sell sold for $29,800...However, this car was never dealer prepped, and had 6 miles showing on ot.....Your car is not worth what you think it is (if you look to NADA for true value, your in for a rude awakening) ............Sorry for the reality check, but since I am neither buying, nor selling you anything, I remain quite objective................

27 plus 10 = 37

Hmmmm,,,,that does put you in the low end of the ball park as far as price goes.

I understand the newer SPF's have some up-grades to the rear end to address the metal fatigue problem in that area. You would want to check an "older one" to see if that weakness has been addressed, as some have and some haven't. It's kinda like a "re-call" thing.

The "book value" on my Excalibur is $34K. How "they" arrived at that number is beyond me. I haven't seen an Excal sell near that in several years. In general I've found the NADA to be on the "high side" of reality. Might be different for certain cars, like the Stang you have, which will surely continue to appreciate in the years ahead.
