Firstly, I'm in the UK so whatever you pay, you'll have to put shipping on top.
Right now thats out of the way, it's 85% finished, with almost all the parts to complete.
Beautiful BRA 289 MK2 Cobra replica (the best looking Cobra, a copy of the original Carrol Shelby car) Has been fitted with either brand new or fully reconditioned parts so far. Suspension (MGB based) fully reconditioned, with one leaf removed from the rear and spacer added (to give correct ride height), fully reconditioned rear axle, brand new five speed Getrag gearbox, AP Racing clutch and cover, fully reconditioned four litre Rover V8, with high compression pistons, polished and ported big valve heads, uprated
oil pump, high lift cam etc etc, (should be capable of 4 second 0-60 and top speed of 150+ mph) windscreen fitted, brand new steering rack fitted, brand new wheels and tyres fitted, petrol tank, pump, filter and hoses (S/S Braided hoses) fitted, radiator,
oil cooler, heater, remote
oil filter fitted, all lights fitted. Pedal box fitted, Needs : Brake callipers, drums and handbrake fitting (supplied) dashboard fitting (supplied) seats fitting (shells and runners supplied) wiring loom (£300+ from Hawk cars, but £99 from premier wiring!) Instruments (could be fitted with s/h MGB items I suppose?) Inlet manifold and carb (Offenhauser 360 degree manifold and Holley 390 carburettor supplied) Exhausts (manifolds and downpipes already fitted) interior trim (carpets etc) It also includes lots of important little bits and pieces (ie hood bows, mirrors, door locks, master cylinders etc etc)
This car has been built with the greatest care to the very highest standards so far, I would welcome an inspection from any mechanic or engineer.

The car is currently set up for RHD but as its an MGB steering rack, I would guess you would be able to source a LHD rack (and dash) over there.
I'm looking for 7,000 GBP for it (cost roughly TWICE that so far) I already have a 427 shape Cobra and bought this when I had a bit too much money for my own good. Unfortunatly I now have to (reluctantly) sell.
