I know the original owner of that legendary car.
Great guy, a legend in Cobra Community and in his mind.
Too bad, same can't be said about the current owner.
I wonder what the State of California would do for registration if Iwas to buy that thing back.
Dan, will you accept a Porsche for a trade?

Turk,
After the countless hours of detailing, sure I'll take the Porsche as trade. I can't believe that one guy could consume and drop so many Fritos in such a nice car. The after shave smell is finally starting to air out (thanks to Fabreze) and I removed the dingle balls from the roll bar. NOW it looks as a cobra should! I'm still mystified how you wired the multi chimed horns. It must be a California thing?

Gord,
I'm not sure if it's Jade East or English Leather.Whatever it REAly is, attracts bees. Must be some kind of Turkish pheromone, I know it's not a French hormone because it's not crying!! sorry, couldn't pass it up!

Dan,
You seriously underestimate Turk and his sense of style....definitely "Canoe" on the after shave. And he has an autographed picture of Joe Namath lying on his side wearing panty hose hanging in his office.
Jade east is way to expensive

Question for Turk
Turk,
I remember seeing some interior shots of the dash and the guages of the CSX some time ago. My question is how did you apply the "red lines" on the faces or bezels. I thought it was a real nice touch!
Thanks,
TL
Dan,
Why sell such a sweet car, I would have thought the SFP would go 1st. Must be Sue couldn't get use to the after shave

You REALLY don't want to know how much money, time or blood is invested into this car. This is the culmination of 3 years worth of dedication, work and bannishment.

Interesting. A while back, a Kirkham car (with a $70k reserve )with out the CSX number, couldn't raise 1 bid. Proof positive that a CSX number has value.

The attention to detail on this car has been outstanding. Turk, Kris Kinkaid and several others dedicated too many hours to count making the car correct.
The absolute irony is that several months ago a gentleman by the name of Rasmussen sold an identical CSX on ebay but not nearly as detailed and received an unbelievable $169k. I know the number was valid because I was the person that was sniped during the last few minutes of the auction!

One car sale does not a market make!
Recent Kirkham auctions (and by far the majority) have done guite well! Talk of a "down market" usually applies only to the "average" car. Kirkhams and SAI cars are in a different league where the "impact" of the market is not as great on them as it is on others.
