CAV GT40 for sale
I am selling my just completed CAV GT40. It is painted in Dodge Patriot Blue. Has less that 1000 miles on it with 17"wheels and factory AC. Motor is a 342 Coast stroker with Wayne Presley's stacker injection system. Audi transaxle. Problem is that I just do not fit in it comfortably. $70,000 FIRM

Is this one of the newer monocoque cars? pics?

It was manufactured in 2001 and undercover since then. So it is not the newer stainless steel version. I should have pictures of it by the later part of next week. I am having the "FORD GT" stripes painted on next week. Gary

"Not Valid Host" at GT40s.com? I had this problem, and it turned out to be an incorrect setting on Norton Internet Security. Here's the advice that fixed it for me;
I think I have the "Not Valid Host" problem sorted out for users who have Symantec's Personal Firewall / Internet Security running : 1. Open the list of Web sites: a. Open NIS or NPF. b. Click Options. c. Click Internet Security or Personal Firewall. (This step is not always needed.) d. Click the Web Content tab. 2. Add a new Web site: a. Click Add Site. A new site/domain box appears. b. Enter the name of the site that you want to receive the referrer information and click OK. In this example, it will be www.gt40s.com. The site name appears in the left frame of the Options window. 3. Configure the new Web site: a. Click the name of the new site. b. Click the Global Settings tab. c. In the "Information about visited sites" section, clear "Use default settings". d. Click Permit. 4. Click OK to close the Options window. Hope this helps! |
It's now for sale
I am sorry, but owning a factory five spec racer AND a Daytona coupe I cannot justify owning this too! So I have since changed my mind and am now selling my just completed CAV-GT40. You can see pics at www.gt40s.com. Car has less than 1000 miles on it. $70,000 FIRM! 603-765-7167

Update
After going back and forth, I have decided to go ahead and sell my CAV in order to keep my Daytona Coupe. Price is still $70,000 but I will pay for shipping within the continental United States via Stewart Transport.
