ERA for sale
ERA #297 for sale. The car was built in 1991 by the ERA factory. I'm the second owner, and have spend a lot of time, money and effort over the past five years getting the car back up to snuff. It's never been in any type of accident, just wasn’t given appropriate care by the original owner.
Features include:
Southern Automotive 427 side-oiler with 484 stroker kit.
Edelbrock aluminum heads.
10:1 compression (runs on pump premium).
Holman-Moody aluminum intake manifold.
Dual 600 cfm Holleys.
MSD 7AL ignition with MSD billet distributor.
Finned aluminum LeMans valve covers.
K&N shortie air filters.
Stainless Specialties stainless steel sidepipes.
New custom Griffin aluminum radiator, dual row, 1.5 inch tubes.
4-speed toploader.
Scattershield bellhousing.
Optima battery.
Jaguar rear suspension, recent overhaul to replace output drive bearings and all seals. Rear brake calipers were rebuilt and all rear brake pads replaced at the same time.
Pin-drive hubs with stainless steel spinners.
Dark blue Imron with white stripes.
Black leather seats with black wool carpets.
Heater.
The car has less than 10,000 total miles on it, and less than 3000 on the engine. It's a real head turner and is guaranteed to get you noticed (sometimes that's good, sometimes it's not. YMMV)
The car is located in Mesa AZ, just east of Phoenix. I'm selling because we're planning to start a business in the near future and I need the cash to put into the endeavor. Asking price is $55,000.

To those interested.
This car is beautiful. Bob has given his car alot of tender loving care. The car is mechanically sound.
Whoever buys it will be getting a great ERA.
Bob, after it is sold you can still hang around with the little silver car.

California,
Chopper sometimes gets called out of state with his job. He may not be able to check this site regularly. Be patient and he will respond. I'll see if I can find some shots of his car in my files, if I do I'll post them.

Mike
Hey Mike, if you do have some photos of his car, please send them to my Club Cobra e-mail account. Chopper may not want those pictures on this site, I wouldn't want to ruffle his feathers or step on his toes. Thanks buddy.

California:
You have e-mail. I only had those two photos available in digital format but will send some more from my comfuser at work. I've been in Atlanta all week and just got home this morning; sorry about the delay.
I don't have any qualms about posting them but they are both too big to post under the forum rules.
I gotta get a digital camera soon!
Mikie, the endorsement check will be in the mail shortly.

I've tried twice to send more photos but your ISP server is sending me messages saying my e-mail couldn't be delivered for some reason. I've tried to send one with fewer photos. Let me know if you've received them.

Photos
Got the pictures, Bob. My guess is you were probably trying to send to many at one time. Send me some more if you have any, meanwhile I'll start composing a list of questions for you about your car. Talk to you soon, Bob.

Just bringing this back up to the top for consideration. Car is still available. Carbs have been changed to a pair of dual 660 cfm center-squirters; the 600 cfm vacuum secondary units are also available if you'd rather have them. Asking price is now $52K. It's almost springtime, folks.

Is ERA #297 still for sale?
If so, what's the latest price?
Thanks!

Sorry about not reacting before this. I've been traveling a bunch and missed the question. Price is now set at $48,000. The car has been sitting around most of the summer since I've been traveling so much for work.
