Talking Thanks Jay

I would like to take this time and say that I am impressed with the Professionalism and Cobra courtesy of the Jay. He drove through the some of the worst and most patience taking weather that we have had down here yet this fall and did all this for the interest of me and the loe of the Cobra. Tha says alot about who he is and it carries over into the Texas Cobra Club and this site as well the involvements that he is associated with through car's and the racing team he apart of. I am humbled by his respect to me as a young man and with this once in a lifetime opportunity for me he showed me respect and gladfulness for me that I had won this. Jay you are a man of great worth in my book and can't wait till the Texas annual meeting in February.
Thanks DownTown

Cool

When you go to the REPLY page, you'll see an ATTACH FILE button if you scroll down...it'll be on the left habnd side of the page. Then, just hit the BROWSE button to the right of the file name box and navigate to where your pictures are located. Double click on the picture file name and it should appear in the file name box. Then just SUBMIT REPLY and your picture file will be auto-magically attached to your reply text...and the crow eatin' begins!

You may have to reduce the picture size and quality, however, to make it appear. There is a file limit size on attached files of 40,000 bytes. Worse comes to worse, send me your pictures and I'll resize and post them between bites of crow!

Hey...a deal's a deal....

You got to admit, Flyn' Freddie.....he's the man.......what a guy! He offers to eat crow based on the pictures, then, he tells Downtown how to post them and even offers to post them! Freddie........you got my vote of confidence, I'd even offer to help you eat that crow if you'd only offered to eat something really Southern, like groundhog dumplins' or barbque coon! Happy Eatn'

Jay of jayscobras
I am having trouble with posting the pictures of the car so with my permission would you post them for me so that every one including Flyin_Freddie can see what it looks like. I would appreciate it so much, for some reason my computer system is having a hard time posting the pics.

DT,
The car is beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I guess you don't realize how lucky you are - Most of us have upwards of $40-45K (or MORE) in ours. It all depends on when we bought ours and the engine we put in. You got yours for a raffle ticket or two. Get a "low appraisal" for tax purposes, pay it, and then enjoy the car. A smart CPA can help you out, even figure a way to write it off, if he's any good

BTW - Freddie loves crow. Grew up on one of those rural Tenn. farms, and that was a gourmet meal on Sunday night. Hell, you don't shoot the cow.

Congratulations Downtown! That's a sharp car. Don't let Flyn' Freddie get any sauce on it off the crow's wings while he'd dinning! Again, hope you have fun driving that car.

Well HOT DANG!!!!!!!, there it is my car for all who have had their doubts both Jay and CobraDan posted the pics. Thanks fellas for the assistance in doing this for me while having computer troubles. One of my input receptical outlets is burnt up so I have to get it fixed. Anyway I am proud like a father and his new child showing the family the new born. MY SHELBY and thanks for the write up of my daughter, Jay that was nice thanks alot. Now I hope all who have been involoved can relate to the title of my thread after seeing this I was dumbfounded on what to do. I now know to ride in style and enjoy for now. I will still be thinking about the sale of the car over the next week and will hopefully make a decision soon. If need be I understand the moving of this to the other forum's and off of this FOR SALE FORUM. Thanks for the time while on this forum and the responses to the thread. If you just have to have the car though and would like to make a reasonable offer than drop me a thread. Who knows this could be in your garage if the $$$ is right. Thanks alot to those who gave of themselves so wonderfully in helping me out.

Congratulations! I think you should keep it, but if it is not your dream then sell it to someone who is looking! Either way you are fortunate to have won this car. Good luck in your pursuits.

Default Freddie Chows Down...

Sorry to be so long in posting this, Downtown....been a little busy here at the office! But, here's my apology....and my picture eatin' crow, as promised. I'll post it in the mainstream of things, too....just so's everyone will know I'm a man of my word.

Oh....and I'm planning on buying your lunch at El Arroyo in February during the TCC Annual Meeting event. You WILL be there, won't you? ...WITH the car....no car, no meal... SO, DON'T SELL IT!

I mean, after all....if I'm gonna buy your lunch, the least you can do is dive the object that cost me the lunch!
