Looking for an ERA or Contemporary Cobra
I am looking for an ERA or Contemporary cobra. I would prefer an unfinished kit or a car needing work such as missing or blown engine, paint or body work, etc. I would consider any condition though including a finished car. (BIG BLOCK AND JAG REAR ONLY) I would greatly appreciate any info. eprush@aol.com or call 631-981-1364

I am looking to spend under 30k and I would prefer a car located under 600 miles from Long Island so I can go see it and bring a trailer and a pocket full of cash, one trip.

Not trying to be a smartass here but you are going to have a very hard time finding a big block ERA or Contemporary for under $30,000. (in any condition)
Have a good one,
Dan

You will not find an ERA or Conetmporary for under $30K - it just won't happen.

2 years ago there was an un-finished ERA on cobra country with a 427 centeroiler for 24k and a 390w/ toploader ERA sold local for 22k so it is possible. I wasn't looking to buy at the time . Now with the csx turnkey minus comming out for aroung 40k I think prices will start to come down on other high quality cobras, maybe not, just an opinion. Not to be a wise guy but the reason I placed an add here is to see whats available, not to be told what I can't buy.

You Tell 'em COBRED!!
I believe that a good deal can be found everyday. You just have to look real hard and get the word out! I like your approach. After all, something is only truly worth what someone is willing to pay. I think your goal is realistic. Surely some high roller may have too many toys or interests changed and is willing to let go of a car for quick cash. Happens everyday, Hell check old DOWNTOWN! 1 raffle ticket and he got a Beauty. The nay sayers ain't knocking him for buying that ticket now are they?? Good luck in your pursuit and please post if you score!
