Trade $75K '32 Hudson coupe for nice Cobra
Considering trading my ultra rare steel-body pro street ‘32 Hudson 5-window coupe to an equally interested party in exchange for a very nice Big Block ERA, Contemporary, Everett Morrison or equivalent ???? type 427 SC replica Cobra. Over $75K and eight years invested in building this car. Must see and hear in person. Please call for details and pictures. In northern California, Thanks. Ask for Tom at (916) 939-1540.

Nice!
FYI: I helped Tom to place this ad... Tom lives up the road from me. I've ridden in this coupe. For anyone that is interested, you really have to see it in person to appreciate the chassis, suspension, interior, and all the work and money that went in to this car over the years... He has a few different types of exhaust for it... zoomies, side, and under exhaust for show or go. For someone thats really into these older coupes and pro street machines, this car is like (1 of 1). I've never even seen an old '32 steel Hot Rod Hudson coupe like this, let alone a pro street version.
As for Cobras...
Also helping Tom to look for nice Cobras.? If anyone has any good recommendations on extra nice cars out there for sale, please feel free to pass it along. Thanks, Duane

I'll bite
I'd certainly take the trade, I don't have quite that into my Cobra. Photos are in my gallery. Mine's a small block with a five speed. I do understand what it's like when you just have to have something....
I'm in Sonoma County and the car is registered SB100...

Strange these two (one car?) cars look almost identical. Duane or Tom - how does one person take 8 years to build the same(?) car that someone else took 5 years to build? Just wondering?

"Over $75K and eight years invested in building this car".
Hi Cracker, Yes, same exact car posted by a previous owner. It says took "over five years to build". Yes, thats a true statement... My understanding is this car was built over this approximate period of time period, by more than one owner. In this ad, I for Tom, did not state that Tom alone built this car over the last eight years... rather a total estimate from the time the car was created by its former owner(s), started, revised, etc, then Tom got it making other small changes since then. I doubt it, but its possible the previous owner could have provided Tom with misinformation but I'd guess not based on all the custom work done and the pictures, receipts, and/or data Tom has on the car... It has Vintage air conditioning, all the goodies, all hand-made interior and trimmings. Looks really neat in person.
If you are interested, Tom can give you more details by phone as he does not do much email or computer time... e.g. why I took the photos and did the ad for him at his request. I hope this helps... In any case, the car is bad a$$. Cannot be duplicated for less. You can't see the wheelie bars in the picture, but they are functional and required. Hehehehe. See Ya.
