Everything is new. I bought this car and have realized that I do not have the time to finish it. My loss and it is a big one is your gain.. Almost everything on this car is NEW not from a doner car.
351W with aluminum heads, Perfomer Intake, 750 Holley, MSD Iginition, MSD billit Distributor, KSR Billit Power steering setup, Complete tubular A rm with QA1 Coil overs front end with race car adjusting uppers, Griffen radiator and electric fan, King Cobra Clutch, HTOB, New Tremec 5 spd, 9" rear with QA1 Coil overs and 3 point setup, 16 gallon Jazz fuel cell, Holley red pump, Ron Francis Wiring Harness,SW gauges complete, 2 sets of doors "1 solid mount 1 hinged" , New windshield in box,New side headers in box and on and on.
4 wheel disk brakes with wilwood pedals and on and on...
Way to much to list. I need to sell and need to sell soon that is why I am only asking SOLD!
Goto www.watersracing.com and look at the 67 Cobra. You get everything for the car that I have.

Factory Five
On one of the boxes in his garage it says" To: Factory Five"
So, maybe it is a FFR kit????

Bill... in this thread...
New Guy needing some advise
..you said you knew the car.
Looks like a custom frame with an FFR body / body parts..
..whatever it is, we shouldn't harass Steve unless there is a genuine interest in buying the project.

It looks to me like a heck of a good start on a track car.

Body??
The chassis may be custom, but do you know who made the Cobra body? I am asking because I am interested in.

Interesting vent
The body has an interesting vent in the upper rear fender next to the gas cap. Does anyone recognize this?

That is not a vent, it is where the 4 point roll bar goes through the body. As people have told me before it looks like an LAE body. I don't know, but I do know it is solid and not cracked and is a nice car. On my website you can see the extra parts that comes with it.....If you want pictures of anything on this car email me... I will be glad to take some for you.
Oh yea when I say it has new stuff on it...It is all new! The tires still have all the tits on them.....

UPDATED 12-28-03
Here is what is left to do on this car:
4 wheel alignment
Have the ps hoses made up "3 of these"
Mount Fuel pump "Race hose and billit filter already done"
Install the Wire Harness: This thing looks easy as everything is in bags labeled. It is a Ron Francis kit.
Install the body " Have to weld on the mount brackets to the chassis. This has to be done after the alignment so the body can be centered on the wheels.
Install the doors. Either solid mount race ones or hinged ones..I have both sets new!
Install the dash and gauges
Install the side headers
Bleed brakes and clutch
Have a muffler shop install j tubes from the manifiolds to the headers
Go Play
There is not much left to do but there is enough to say I done it. Like in the pictures I haveverything to complete it except the ps hoses. Brand New windshield inthe box, brand new side headers in the box, all new gauges Stewart Warner in boxes, new doors race and street version, I have a cracked windshield I use for mock up, I have the wind breakers for the side of the windshield, sunvisors, gas cap assy, trunk latch kit, tag light bracket, New headlamps, turn signals, I also have the rear 4 round lights if you want them in the car instead of the small rectangular ones in there now and on and on. A ton of parts. Again everything is brand new on this car and it is TITLED as a 1967 Ford Cobra model 2s. Not as a kit car.
I would also be willing to take an ATV and $7500 cash for the car.
