I'm considering selling my baby...er... my Unique 427.
The show-quality Dupont ChromaPremier paint is a custom blend silver with a hint of blue pearl and black LeMans stripes. You must see it to appreciate the quality of this paint job.
The entire nose, leading edge of the rear fenders, and area behind rear tires is protected with 3-M Invinca-Shield film.
It has an original 427 Sideoiler service block with cross-drilled steel LeMans crank and polished LeMans rods with ARP bolts, Main, and Head studs. All parts were magnafluxed and the rotating assembly balanced. Edelbrock Aluminum heads have 2.19" and 1.73" stainless RE valves, and are ported, polished, and CC'd. Arias forged pistons are used, machined for 12.5/1 CR. Ultradyne supplied us with a custom cam grind to match the setup. Approximate specs are .650" lift and 254 duration at .050". Harland-Sharp roller rockers on billet shafts with end stands are used. A Crane HI-6 DSR Ignition w/2-step rev control is mounted on a custom hinged mount under the dash. A Griffin aluminum radiator with fans keeps it cool. This engine will idle in summertime heat at 180-190 deg. It has a very aggressive idle, but has never so much as fouled a plug.
It is also equipped with a pre-luber. This engine has never been cranked over without first having
oil pressure.
An Aluminum flywheel and McLeod 12" Long-style pressure plate and Kevlar clutch connects to a Tremec TKO trans with a powder-coated Lakewood safety bellhousing.
Suspension is fully independent with adjustable Carrera coilovers and a 3.54/1 Powerlock differential.
Wheels are Trigo Pindrive and tires are BFG Euro T/A's.
All non-suspension related hardware was replaced with stainless and polished to a mirror finish. I hand fabricated and polished the aluminum fender and footbox panels as well as the grille panels. I also fabricated brackets and a bug screen for the grille opening. All external engine hardware is ARP 12pt polished stainless.
Interior is black leather with black carpeting. Smiths instruments with the reverse 180MPH speedo are used. Simpson Cam-Lock 5-point harnesses are installed on both sides.
I spent over a year and a half building this car. I did everything except the machine work and the final prep and paint.
Alan Weaver at Unique told me after seeing the finished car that he had never seen another of their cars finished to such detail.
It appraised for insurance at $64000.
I'm pricing the car at $59500. I realize this is a bit more than what you stated, but when you see and experience it in person you will appreciate its value.
Email me if interested and I’ll send pictures.
Enclosed delivery can be provided if desired.
