Using the word "authentic" in your ad for what is clearly not an original, from the 60's CSX Cobra is misleading and annoying.
I know you're trying to sell a car here, but perhaps you could sacrifice salesmanship for truth in advertising, at least on this board.

Alan... I understand what you are saying to Mark, in this context. We all tend to relate to originals when these terms are used.

...however, the terms "authentic" and "genuine" are used in the SA descriptions of their new cars, implying the source is Shelby.

...not trying to be the "semantic police", but I will close this thread to avoid another "Real or not" debate from occurring in the Cobras For Sale forum
