kit wanted question
Hi guys,
This is the 1st post I have ever made here.
I am interested in building/buying a car. ive been studying on this for a while now.
I was wondering ifanyone on here is interested in possibly trading for a Harley?? I hardly ever ride my bike anymore and hate to see all that money just sitting there. Ive not completely decided to do this yet. Just wondering if there is any interest. My Harley is now a labor of love, probably like most of ya'll cars.
I hate to part with her, but this Cobra thought just keeps entering my mind. So while I am sitting here at work making whiskey for the world, I thought I would post this message.
Any response would be appreciated
Thanks!!

The best bang for your buck would be a good used already assembled cobra. Alot of guys (me included) have way more money in their cars than they will ever get out again on resale. For your sake, I hope someone wants to trade.
Good luck
Paul

I wouldnt mind having a good used one. I dont have to have alot of HP. I am not going to race it or anything. I do want to drive it!! I am not one of those people that buy something and park it in the garage.
As for trading my harley, Its paid for and this would offset alot of out of pocket cash.
Let me know about any possible used cobras
Thanks

JD Maker,
I have to ask, what do you realistically think your Harley is worth in the current market? What type of Harley is it.....For all we know, you could have a 1992 883 Sportster (net worth in todays market, about $4,500). Sit back and reread your original post, your question is a bit on the vague side don't you think.
Sincerely,
Bill S.

Turk,
I only take Kirkhams in trade, nothing else . But it would be nice to know what the gentleman is proposing. As you know, depending on the bike, and the customization, or stock condition, it could be worth $5,000, or it could be worth $35,000.....If the original poster has a Harley worth only $10,000 (speaking just in generic terms), does he expect to swap even up for a Cobra worth at least $20,000+(again, just in generic type terms)??????? Just trying to throw a little reality in to the conversation......
Bill S.
PS: Do youknow how many people want to trade me this and that for the Cobra when I had it up on Ebay.......

My harley is a custom Dyna Low Rider-FXR. 1340 cc 1985. jet black and 16k miles. Probably ask $13-14k.
Way too many xtras to list. Here are some of them.
Wide Glide front end, matching custom aluminum wheels, Kuryakyn Hyper-Charger, low profile HD seat, forward controls, wide V hadle bars, etc.....
When ever I part with her I have every original part including wheels 2 xtra seats, orig handle bars and risers another set of drag bars, straight shot long pipes etc...
I dont expect to trade even for a 20k+ car. I am realistic. I guess i would really like to find someones unfinished project or kit.

JD,
I noticed your test post. If you were trying to post a picture of your Harley, the posts are limited to pictures of less than 30K. If you want to post a larger picture, put it in your gallery and then link it to the post. The picture would really help your cause a lot as will more of an explanatio of just what all the bike is and wehat you have or have not done to it. I know almost nothing about motorcycles, but some of the people on this club are avid bike nuts.
