Not some cheesy kit car cobbled together from a bunch of junkyard cast-offs but a hand built replica. Appraised by USPAP, ASA certified senior appraiser at $46,750 in 2002. Chassis is rectangular tube with flat steel bottom for integrity and rigidity. Body is hand laid fiberglass with aluminum inner panels uniquely designed where the only part of the body that is fiberglass is the outer skin. Then the whole unit is bolted and riveted to the chassis where the correct leather seats are bolted to seat tracks, which are then bolted to the steel floor – not a glass tub. All foot boxes, inner panels, fender linings inner wheel wells, hood and firewall are aluminum. Engine is a DOVE 429 Ford with 460 crank, tunnel ram - dual Carter Performance Series carbs (no chokes), ported heads, Milodon stainless valves, roller rockers, Pete Jackson gear drive, Weiand water pump, TRW forged pistons, debeamed and polished rods and Mellings

oil pan. Trans is fresh C7OR Ford toploader with correct – very expensive – shifter from Bud Moore NASCAR shop. Rear end is narrowed 9 inch Ford, 31 spline axles and 4-spider limited slip differential. Brakes are cross-drilled four-piston disc at all four corners with twin Gerling masters and Tilton balance beam. Suspension is tubular unequal length front, triangulated 4-link rear with Koni adjustable circle track shocks and ride height adjustment sleeves and Eibach springs all four corners. Wheels are PS Engineering 15x7.5 front with 265x50x15 and 15x9.5 rear with 295x50x15 Goodrich T/A white letter tires. Interior is black leather with correct Smiths gauges and dash layout, A/C steering wheel, column and accessories. Car has hidden Alpine 6 disc CD, 200-watt amp, speakers and sub woofer, with infrared remote. Extremely fast, you do the math! Good enough to show and drive – I do both.
