Shark repellent anybody? Contact your local Navy Seals Team.
I remember this joker from his last BS. Either he is as dumb as a box of rocks about cars or, 'way too slick for his own good. Doesn't sound like it would take much for him to find a home in the local crossbar hotel........ Who knows, maybe that's where his "office" is.
I too will step up with apology if I'm wrong.
I will also add that most of the members of this group are plenty smart enough to smell a rat. I surprises me that there would be a shark in these waters.....out where everybody could see shark written all over him.
What say we give him a fair trial and hang him at the end of the week?
Al

Paul,
After reading your profile and just for curiosity I'd like to see a picture of your "1965 original cobra 427 assembled in 2002".
Can you post a few pictures of your original Cobra here or in your picture gallery?
Wow, where did you find it? Is it one of the ultra rare alloy carbon fiber models by chance?
Thanks, can't wait to see what it looks like.

Next Time, Try Selling It At Barrett-Jackson!
Dearest Paul,
The late drummer Buddy Rich had a favorite phrase that seems to be applicable here.
"You're nothing but a B.S. high school jive artist. And you've jived me for the last time, M.F."

You know it really amazes me the time you guy's have to say all these wonderful things about me.
The original post was a learning expirience and I appreciate the info I learned about my 65 cobra. As far as this car goes I'm just going once again by what I'm told.If we're running an ad in Dupont taking deposits I have to believe this one has a little more validity to it!.I'm glad that I posted here to learn what I can and have educated others based on your knowledge.I met Jay in person and he was kind enough to talk to me about alot of different things ,But now it seems like all you Guy's have better to do is bash me.I hope those particular people don't ever have to rely on the kindness of a stranger.Because Karma will bite you in the Butt.I thank you for your time. Can someone tell me how to unscribe form this site.I would hate to waste my time and yours any longer.

Sounds like Paul is serious about this deal.
What kind of gaurentee or "proof" could you offer that this is the "real deal"?
I mean, seriously, this is as difficult to believe as the idea that a "real, genuine, authentic made from 1965 'parts' Cobra" assembled in 2002 actually exists. It's not the first time someone has tried to make a buck on that idea (Shelby himself comes to mind)!
Such a statement seriously impunes your credibility among those who frequent THIS web site. Club Cobra members are clearly the largest gathering of International motoring intellectuals (world gear heads) to be found ANYWHERE on the planet. No exaggeration, I challenge someone to find a larger more knowledgable group of individuals in the WORLD.
I'm not being "rude", I am simply speaking as a matter of fact.

The only Guarantee I can offer is that when the car becomes available we will not sell your particular one reguardless of the offer. On our company letterhead signed by the president.
I can't guarantee the sun will come up tomorrow. All I can do is offer the guarantee we have along with the refund should you ask for it.

Paul,
Your reputation here is at question, as is this particular posting. If you are currently "under contract" with Ford/SAI/??? to market the "2006 V10 Cobra", then I would like to see a "neutered" copy of this contract. In order for you to have me part with my $10,000, I will require a copy of this legal contract, along with a contract between your company and mine that clearly states and that any and all funds will be held in an escrow account specificly set up for this transaction, and will not be used by your company for it's day to day operating expenses. While you may think this is a bit drastic, once again, your (and the company in which you are employed) reputation here is once again being called in to question. As of right now, to the best of my knowledge, no such contract between you, your company, and any and all parties interested in producing the "V10 Cobra concept vehicle" has been inked. If this is the case, then legally, you cannot offer a "spot" for any buyers. Yes, Fords legal dept is being copied on this thread, and you allegations of "spot #3" and your willingness to take a deposit for said spot. Time to put your own money where your mouth is, and we can then go from there. Feel free to PM me for my fax number, so you can send me all of your "certified and legal" documentation, we can then go from there.
Bill S.

Ernie,
I think you are refering to this old thread...
1965 origial 427 cobra assembled in 2002
This new thread is a whole different ball game. What is being sold here is this, I believe....
so as far as I can tell they are willing to hold for you, and collect interest on, your $10,000 while we all sit around and wait to find out if this CONCEPT CAR is actually going to be built. And if it does not get built you can have your full deposit back(minus the intrest of course).
Have a good one,
Dan
edit: looks like Bill beat me to the punch. And that I read Ernie post alittle too fast. My apologies Ernie for thinking you were one thread behind.

I think the best thing for me to do Mr.Mustang if you have interest in this piece would be to put you in contact with the owner of My company so he can give the exacts and not the second hand Info from me.Just leave me a message with your Number and I'll have him contact you.
As far as the legal info goes I'm not in a qualified postion to give you that info.
As far as Ford is concerned I could say that I owned ford if I wanted to over the internet. And would be doing no more harm to them than my post itself.(it's nothing more than freedom of speech).

Yes, Paul, lies are generally protected speech under the first amendment, until someone reasonably relies upon one to his financial detriment, in which case it's fraud, which is not protected speech. Also, if you're going to keep advertising here, you should talk with the site owner about buying an ad, if he decides you qualify. As a legal matter, Mr. Mustang just made an offer on the car, it seems to me--just accept his offer with his stated conditions and the spot is sold. See how easy it is?

Rather buy the bridge
after reading all the postings on this thread, I've come to the conclusion that I'd stand a better chance of buying (and getting)the bridge that Aussie Mike is referring to.
Is that weird building in the background included in the bridge deal??????

Paul,
Again, I want everything in writing, which is why I offered you my private fax number. I will not do any deals with "a phone call", as too many things could be misconstrued. With everything in writing, it is all in black and white, with no misinterpretations on either side of a potential deal. If you do not have the authority to make a deal such as this, then why did you bother to post it here in the first place.

Paul,
Not to sound rude, but you now need to show him this thread and stop trying to be the middleman. I do not want to speak with anyone over the phone, I want the powers to be to fax me the paperwork to confirm that what you have posted and offered is legit and viable, and that my lawyer confirms it is all on the up and up.
