Red Unique 427 Cobra for sale..GREAT DEAL!
1 Attachment(s)
Good Morning Everyone,
I have found a 1968 Shelby GT350 that I am trying to purchase and would like to sell my Unique 427 Cobra. It is 100% finished and needs nothing. In fact, I just had it tuned on the dyno and it ran mid 12's in the quarter. This car only has 3,000 break in miles on it. I did have it for sale earlier at $38,500 but realize with the soft Cobra market and mine being an automatic (which is fantastic by the way, regardless of what anyone says) I have lowered the price to $33,000 to hopefully sell it quickly. This car runs as nice if not better than it looks. I would also be interested in trades (up or down) for a Shelby GT350, GT500 clone or original. I have many photos that I can email to you. I also have many in my gallery. I live in Northern Indiana. Thank you for your time. Here is a shot that shows the rear and interior. The interior is perfect.
(Yes that is a stereo in the dash. I did not put it in there. I am however making a cover for it out of black leather with a grab handle on it that will completley hide the stereo and have a quick release on it when you want to listen to the music. ) |
Check out a turnkey Cobra from Unique or Colorado Cobras and you will see just how great a deal this is.
|
Just won "People's Choice" award at a local car show! I'll post another photo when I get them developed.
|
How much would it cost you to convert this a manual transmittion?
|
I got a quote a few months ago of $2,500-$3,000 including the tranny at the most. Probably less.

GT350 is sold. Cobra is still for sale or trade.
Thanks |
Still time
This is a great deal. I can't believe that no one has bought this car yet. Even if you don't like automatics it is a great deal. There is still time to buy it and take it to the Unique homecoming this weekend....:)

Your Choice of Transmissions
Ok, after many of you telling me that the reason that my car has not sold yet is the automatic transmission, I am willing to offer this deal.
I am willing to have this Unique professionally converted to the original style manual toploader transmission for $37,000 (providing my builder has not increased his estimate). I know I may sound desperate but I'm not. I just don't have a need for this car. I bought it on a whim and then realized that I just don't get the chance to drive it enough. It runs and looks great. Thanks for viewing this post. I can be reached in the daytime at 1-800-342-5653 ext. 2951 or in the evenings at 574-268-9453 Thanks Scott |

Hey Scott, i cant believe no one has bought your car, im trying to talk my buddy up here into purchasing the mustang so we can do the combo for you, im still working on it, thanks, do you have any interior pics of the mustang and the engine you can send to me and then i will forward to him,
Cheers |
I know
I know Bruce. I don't understand it myself. It is 100% complete, needs nothing and SCREAMS! I just put a new Holley Blue fuel pump and regulator on it. Since we last talked I also took it to a regional car show and won against some awesome cars. I think the first serious person to see it and drive it will buy it for sure. The Viper red paint is beautiful. I'll also send you some photos of the Mustang interior. I have had a pretty good offer on the Mustang but I am waiting to do a little better. I have an ad in a Midwest photo ad magazine coming out this week that should sell the Mustang by the end of the weekend.
I would like to take both cars to DVSF but I haven't tracked down an enclosed trailer and a towing vehicle yet. Thanks for your interest. Scott |
Stickers are just static cling
Hello,
Many of you that have called have asked me why I either painted or put permanent stickers on my car. Well, they are just static cling and come right off. I just put those on for fun and at the car shows. Also, in my gallery you will also see two different air cleaners. I just added a phenolic carb spacer and right now the Cobra oval air cleaner doesn't fit. I am in the process of making a new base plate so that it will work. Thanks for the interest. This car is a blast. Scott |
