Default Cheap vintage Race Car for sale.

I have on ebay my vintage '64 Lotus Cortina race car for sale. Why take chances on your Cobra when you can go out in a genuine professionally prepared vintage race car. I had the roll cage built extra sturdy so that it would protect me in case of a roll over and the fire suppression will extinguish any fire. Check it out. For CC members only, my reserve is $22K.

Very nice. I wish I had 22K burning a hole in my pocket.

There was a guy with a Cortina who used to come up from CA for the SOVREN Historics. The picture he submitted for the program showed his car up on 2 wheels in a corner. He used to lap me and my old my EP 912.

Are you giving up racing? ...switching rides?

Rick,

Thanks for the nice comment. As you know if you are married, I don't have full control of "our" money. Since "we" already have 4 cars other than our 2 commuter cars with 2 car garage I have problems with storage. The Cortina, being a race car is the least driven of all. So I need the space and the money to fund non-auto projects.

Shin,

Speaking of too many cars...I just got off the phone with my wife and a guy she works with has a line on a one owner '54 356 coupe that's been siiting in a dry garage for about 20 years. She said I'd have to sell the sailboat in the garage if I want another car...man!
