Default new guy

Hi all, just signed up. Love the cars! Anybody around the Seattle area? Been eye-balling these cars for a couple of years. I'd love to get a better look (maybe ride?) before I drop some cash! I live in Kirkland. I would like to get a pre-owned vehicle. My budget is $35-40k. Any owners located around here? High end dealership in Bellevue has a SPF but seems kinda high.

Welcome 7E7 man. Must be working on the "Dreamliner." I was just out there with a group looking to buy some new 737NGs just a couple of weeks ago.

You'll find this a great place for all kinds of advice.....even on Cobras . But, you should be able to find a nice, previously-owned replica in your price range. I'll be happy to advise you, as long as you take my advice with a grain of salt. It's all about what you want.

Thanks for the welcome Clay.

You got it, the "Dreamliner". The program officially launched so here we go!

Looking for some folks in the Seattle area that would be willing to spend an hour or so to talk to and even get a ride. From what I've seen, I should be able to get a pretty good car for my price range. A pre-owned SPF or FFR appeal to me but looks like I'd be stretching my $$$ a bit.

Derek,
Stay away from Park Place--from experience, I bought my SPF from them, ordered it, hassles all the way after delivery, they are no longer an SPF dealer, per se. They are very "Proud" of their cars. The black one(SPF) is the owners car and he expects the $70k price for it--no deals, on a '99 or '00 SPF. HUH? The others on their lot about 6 mos ago I think were consignment cars--wayyyyy over priced for FFR and NAF--little wiggle room on these also. Park Place=yuk for the Cobra market IMO

I live on Bainbridge Island. Lots of owners on the other side of the water. Check out the NWCC club thread.

Welcome

Gary,

I would have to agree with you from some experience I've had over there on my wife's M3. No room to wiggle. We walked away. This was about 5 years ago though.

I'll check out the NWCC club thread. Thanks.
