OH, the deal will go through,...I guarantee it!
Sent the deposit, you should have it in the AM. I am coming in on Monday, but it will be too late to get the deal finished, so how does first thing Tues sound to you?
I will call you in a couple of days and firm everything up. Also, forgot to ask if it had tops/covers? I think I read in a previous thread you had them for it...just checking. Have looked at so many cars, gets a little confusing.
I will take good car of it. I have waited my whole life to have one of these cars.

Chris,
looks like you got a beautiful car. I really was tied up or I think I would have beat you to the punch. BUT, looks like everything is working out fine. I just can't wait to go get her!

Buss, not a problem on the early Tuesday it will give me some time to get the last minute family portraits in it with my daughter Shelby. Anyhow congrats on the car I know you will like it we will be giving a good cleaning this weekend so that she is ready for you on Tuesday. Yes I have both covers and the windows as well and they all go with the car.

Gentlemen,
To all who are interested the car is sold and the proud owner is Buzzmobile. He left the Austin area this morning in the car and is smiling all the way to the house in Tulsa. Thanks to all who were interested and the offers that were offered. I hope to soon after the construction of the house and things settle down that I can find my way back behind the wheel of a Cobra or right smack in the middle of the oil and grease of putting one together. Thanks again to all the friends and people I was able to meet. Flyinn Freddie I thank you for the memories and the relationship of knowing someone as joyful as you. Jay Nordstrom what a man of knowledge and pure humbleness to help as much as he did. I thank him for kinda takin me under his cobra wing and guiding me along this newly found time of owning a cobra. Thanks to you all and I will stay in contact. I will keep my eyes and ears to the ground as I look and listen for the rumble of the Cobra family cruisin around the area and nation. To all keep it safe and in between the bar ditches.

WHOA! WAS THAT DRIVE FUN
Well, she is home now. I have had her home about 12 hours and have given probably as many "ride" to folks who are just amazed at the performance. I am still trying to take it easy and "learn" the car. The 8 hour ride home was a freat fun, but forgot sunscreen until Dallas and now I am a solid red blister. Lesson one...leave sun screen in the car!
Can anyone tell me if the Spf cars have adjustable pedals or seat. The seat has lever, but doesn't seem to move. I could really use an extra inch or 2. The left knee is wedged just gelow the dash, door and steering wheel. I will check into it more today, but ahny quick answers here would help.
GAWD, that car is fun. waited my whole life to get it and it is everything I thought it would be. AND the wife likes it too, and the 6 year old daughter Kelsey......LOVES it. She was pretty upset when I sold "her" Model A hotrod...so I think this will fix that problem.
Thanks All for your advice and contacts.

Great story, Buzz. If I was aware that you were heading North on IH 35, I would have been on the side of the road in Austin giving you the "thumbs up". What a fun ride.

Buzz-
Evidently you didn't get the complete Cobra package since EVERYONE gets an extra inch or two when they buy one! Maybe you need to look down when yoyu gthrow a shift from first to second---I guarantee you'll find what you've been looking for
